Jules
We may have to face patriots if we get to second round of playoffs No. If we are the 5th seed we would end up going to Houston/Denver if they get the byes and NE is the third. Now I am confusing myself though since I think if we beat Houston in the final week and Denver wins out then Denver can get the 1 seed. We need to beat KC. Period. But, our game vs. Houston in the final week could determine who gets homefield I believe. I think we have the tiebreaker over Cincy if we both finish 10-6 too..... As for Baltimore they play Cincy in the final week. I guess it is possible NE also fell to #4 but I find it unlikely given this skid by the Ravens who I think lose another? JerodMayo51
Shows the importance of Gronkowski to this offense against good defenses.. Combined with the horrible weather, this game plays right into the 49ers strengths

Jules
And I realized the Pats finish with the Jags and then the Dolphins at home. Unlikely they lose more unless it is to Miami and I doubt it unless they rested starters with seeding locked up. I mean you never know if someone will upset someone either and you get the bye unexpectedly. And it is entirely possible too that Cincy will struggle with the final 2 games vs. the Steelers/Ravens. The Bengals are not very good vs. those teams until proven otherwise. OMG the Jets are alive!!!!!!

buffalo34
Oh yeah, Pats have adjusted. 49ers had so many chances to kill the beast and now the beast is about to gobble them up. 49ers lead for a half, I guess we can settle for moral victories. Jules
more then likely we're going to baltimore unless they lose out and the bengals win out in that case we're going to cincy. I guess a lot depends on whether the Giants can do anything vs. the Ravens in Baltimore. I mean Jesus, what a skid the Ravens are on. I know Denver is good but still it's suprising. But, they need to get some guys back on D too and maybe they do this week. As for Cincy, I am slightly more intrigued playing them for future purposes if that happened with us. Dalton vs. Luck. I am still giving the edge to the Ravens though.
