Peyton threw SIX Against SD. Many Many Years into his career. This stuff happens. He is not awful, look at Sanchez in New York, look at Russell in Oakland. Tim Couch in Cleveland. If Luck is your definition of awful, what are those guys?

Most rookies don't carry the burden of an entire team. If the offense struggles to produce its not like we can rely on our D. If Luck is awful, we can't exactly run it.

The D has done about as well as can expected considering how long they've been on the field.

I'm surprised at all these knee-jerk, emotional reactions on Luck's performance. Sure, he has thrown a lot of picks, but the defense hasn't helped us get a win. And the offensive line hasn't blocked for him very well. Anyone remember Peyton's 6 INT performance against San Diego a few years go? And don't forget Peyton threw I believe 28 picks as a rookie. Luck is very good, but he is still a rookie and is still getting used to the NFL.

He is not HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and watch some old Manning film, dude struggled too. For that matter watch any Post-season footage of Peyton Manning.
