Andre Smith. I love blocking specialist at FB and TE, because teams don't like to draft them but there is always a spot for them if they're good enough. Andre is a decent athlete who was an excellent blocker in college, and I think he fits the mold a lot of teams look for in 3rd TEs, though I could be wrong.

James Aiono looks to be one of the better 3-4 DL projects. He played all over the line at Utah, including time spent at 0-tech. He's certainly got the tools.

No.....he like some of our favs had the injury bug....still liked him at MI and Liked his effort in the Not For Long.

I hope Carter doesnt fall into same category,i know his injury isnt the same but may be as critical for a ball carrier. And i was impressed with Hart, just a shame it didnt work out,i really like backs who can pound the ball

I agree. I really like Ballard, and I hope Carter goes after it to see what he can do as well. Hands, thumbs....wrists are a killer for a RB, let alone someone who had some fumbling issues.

I think Dallas Clark's wrist never healed....I guess we will see....

Man I've been a Colts fan for so long that I have a lot of soft spots. Some people have been bringing up Mike Hart and I have to completely agree with that! But as for people still on the team the players that immediately come to mind are Brown, Thomas, and Hughes.

-Brown- I've always thought he needed to be the starter. He's got so much potential and ever since Addai started he hasn't been as good and I felt he was much better coming off the bench.

-Thomas- I felt bad for him because he tore his ACL his rookie season and as someone who has torn their ACL and is still trying to comeback from it completely I sympathize with him. I've also read a lot about him being a straight up man-to-man corner, which wasn't the scheme we were playing under Caldwell.

-Hughes- I was really excited when we picked and thought he would learn from Freeney and Mathis and give us some help off the bench and eventually start. I hope that Grigs has sat him down and told him he needs to work his butt off and show that he can play!

I'll finish by saying I expect Brown and Thomas to step up big this season. I really don't know what is going to happen with Hughes i just don't see any passion in him.

Brody Eldridge should have been that blocking specialist but I think he might have been a big fish in a small pond in college.

Jabin Sambrano- Yes. I'm on this bandwagon. I'm not really sure what it is, but after i watched some interview of him online and watched some highlight, I'm become really impressed with how he carries himself and love his demeanor of just being thankful for the opportunity to come in and make the team. However, one thing to note is that he was told part of why he was brought in was special teams, so the hopes we have of him beating out expectations overshadowed by this fact.

i see jabin as a rod smith type of player
