Gronkowski was probably going to be cut anyway. Carter is now at 238lbs abd Mahaffey was said to block better than Gronk.

sounds like a guy that if he makes the roster can add a little more depth to the corner spot. I don't think it sounds like the Colts are looking at him as a starter probably a nickle or dime guy at most again if he makes the team.

Isn't our former FB Chris Gronkowski the guy that missed the blitz block that led to Romo's collar bone being broken and being out for the season? I wonder what Peyton feels about that now that he is on the Broncos .

Cassius Vaughn has the size and speed to play outside and compete with Kevin Thomas, IMO. Rucker, I always felt, had more Marlin Jackson in him, that he would play nickel and run support inside. Good move, I like it. We may, like GoColts said, start him off in nickel and dime situations. He was lost in a numbers game over there in Denver, IMO. Reviews were mixed about him in coverage.

With Champ, Tracy Porter, Drayton Florence as CBs on the roster plus Omar Bolden drafted and last year's CB contributor Harris playing well for the Broncos, it was a trade they probably felt they could afford.

Personally, we needed the CB more than they needed a FB, IMO. Good trade, IMO!!! Props to Grigson!!!

Vaughn is a pretty good player. Fast, and he has learned from Champ Bailey, Pagano can make him great IMO.

Maybe now we can pick up a guy who grew up locally, now playing for the Chiefs - Donald Washington (from Indianapolis that played for Ohio State) for more depth, the Chiefs have good depth in their secondary too, let us raid the AFC West secondary depth :

I think Mahaffey should be the starting FB if we use one because he played really well when given the opportunity last year. As for Vaughn, he seems more like a special teamer than a starting CB

I had Gronkowski cut anyway and Mahaffey as our fullback, looks to me the Colts are just trying to find a Corner that can play, probably filling in the return game right now thats it
