Kyrie wants to take on a bigger role?  I bet he's either not getting along with LeBron or he knows LeBron is as good as gone after this year.  I'll be curious as to where he goes.  I'd love him in Chicago but I am sure every fan would love to have him.  I'd be kind of shocked if Cleveland actually trades him.

Finally got to make it out to a game this season tonight with the youngster. Had a good time as always.    Yo, if I see Turner shoot one more three I’m gonna rush the court and vomit on him.

He could and he still probably has 2 maybe 3 great years left. He is 33 I think or will be shortly though and the Lakers have a young team and may want to keep that way, we will see.

If the Pacers could some how get him I would bow down to KP as long as Turner isn't involved.

Rumor has it, he is frustrated with LeBron and wants to be the #1 option on another team.  I can't say that I am surprised.  I am glad he's actually standing up for himself.  We'll see if he really gets traded though.  If he truly did say he didn't want to play with LeBron anymore, they have to trade him.  The Bulls have D Wade and him and LeBron are besties? haha.  I'll be curious where he ends up if the Cavs end up trading him.  I don't think LeBron has a no trade clause.  Maybe the Cavs should ship him else where lol

Your 100% correct but the Spurs have no reasonable trade bait, they'd have to find a 3rd or 4th team.  Now Minnesota on the other hand, they have plenty of trade bait.  I'd like to see him on Minnesota.

I don't think the Cavs necessarily need a pg coming back. I think there is a good chance D Rose signs there and could get major minutes and they could probably get a backup pg from the trade as a throw in or in fa. I know Phoenix has a glut of point guards. They really aren't happy with Bledsoe or Knight. They could be part of say a three team trade. Maybe moving picks to NY and bringing Kyrie to Phoenix and Cavs get like Bledsoe and Melo. Throw some other pieces in there as fillers.

 

If I could put Kyrie on any team to make me happy I would put him on the Pelicans. I feel so bad for Anthony Davis..you know he is leaving in a couple years so let that team make a run at it with him and Cousins and Kyrie and Holiday and Hill. At least it would make them a playoff team....or Clippers would be interesting. Imagine lob city with kyrie driving and drawing defenders?? I've got no interest in seeing him in SA, MINNY, MIA, and definitely not NY. Fact is though...he has no trade clause in his contract so he could go anywhere.

.... because the only way they'd want PG is if they still had Irving.

Without Irving, why would they want Paul for a year..?

lol poor Kyrie.. He's excellent. But remember Kyrie before Lebron?? Who would want to play with such a ball dominate player.. ehem *westbrook* Kyrie is best suited for an all star team, team USA, the Cavs with Lebron. He'll turn it on and razel dazel for moments in a game, the crowd will uww and ahh.. then it's over.

But you have to be a sidekick....no matter how good you are or were

Almost everyone who plays with LeBron has to submit....to deny their own game..

Point guards have to give the ball up.  post players have to get out of the lane...only wings, spot up shooters who stand and wait......can do their natural thing with LBJ

The overlooked skill of Kevin Love is that Love became an amoeba...He played the post who got out of the way when he needs to.

He played the wing who spotted ..and he disappeared when LBJ wanted to ball stop and dominate. He went to the bench when the Cavs 'went small'

He got out of the way and didnt complain.

Its not a knock on LeBron...its not good or bad..its shades of gray and you win games./ But LeBron is very hard to play with. He can down grade you. So did Kobe. So did Michael.  It is what it is..

 

and the Cavs hardly stood idly by...that's an alternate sports talk universe...they almost had Paul George AND Carmelo...but I dont think we wanted Paul to stay in the East..(for good reason) Just because a team didn't make 'bigsplash' trades doesn't mean they 'stood idly by' 

 

and lets not overvalue Myles Turner...Kyrie Irving is 25 years old, a 20 ppg scorer and a dominant player performer...

I like Myles but he's not all that...we dont have anybody close to that.

..and while Kyrie makes what? 25 mil..guess what?...we're going to have to pay Myles 20 mil in 2 years..and in a long term deal.

Kyrie must have other issues with LeBron..

He says he wants to be the main focus on a team. Lets look at that.

Where will that happen. Not in San Antonio with Kawhi. Not in Minnesota with Jimmy Butler.

Those two coaches don't have a one player 'main focus' guy.

the cavs probably feel the same way about trading kyrie to us as we did about trading paul to them

Al Horford is a C and he's better than anyone the Raptors or Wizards could offer at that position. And the Celtics added Gordon Hayward so the Avery Bradley loss isn't as significant

Dear God you won't let anyone develop you hate anyone young don't you you have no damn clue how good Turner will be he is super young and is already improving at a fast pace you are so stuck on the stupid win now mentality you would gladly trade away our future to make the playoffs as an later seed

There's no culture of anything in Cleveland without LeBron. The Goon owner isn't the deal here.  LeBron is going to leave and Kyrie want's his leverage. Some of it's ego, some of it's probably just recognition that he can set himself up better now than in the future.
