So that means Broncos get a bye week and New England doesn't, right? Is it confirmed there's no way New England will get the bye? I don't care about the other teams, just tell me New England isn't getting a bye, lulz.

 New England the 3rd seed

No, I think NE is the '2' and Cincy is the '3'

I see now. Denver has to win to steal the bye from New England. New England currently has the best record at 12-4, but Denver has yet to play today, so if Denver wins and goes 12-4, they win the tie-breaker over New England with Denver having beaten New England earlier in the season.

I thought having the 1st seed meant having the bye. Then what constitutes being a top team, when both New England and Denver can end the season 12-4? Don't tell me it's something dumb, like fan voting, that plays into it.

1st overall seed just guarantees homefield throughout. no fan voting is involved, just tie breakers that can get pretty complicated if necessary

WC round is going to be great. Cincy really needed to see Denver lose to get the bye and Dalton back. I can't see them beating the Steelers with McCarron but their D is great so there is a chance. I think KC probably beats Houston but Houston is playing some great football right now too.

Divisional round will most likely be Denver/Pitt and NE/KC.
