I'd take Kevin Johnson out of Wake Forest Best CB in the class IMO Darby would be good as well

You seem to be way higher on Carl Davis than most analysts and sportswriters (although that may be a good thing).  I enjoyed your breakdown, but I'm still not convinced he'll go any earlier than the middle of the second round (and certainly not before Jordan Phillips).

You really think the Titans will take Mariota at 2?

Someone will.

I think that's crazy, but it seems like the Titans are trying to generate interest there. And with Washington and SD sniffing around, someone might get antsy.

In real life, Mariota isn't close to the second best player in this draft, IMO.

In real life Winston isn't the best player in the draft either but like you say some desperate teams just cant help themselves

I know I have a ton of bias, but I'll be surprised if he isn't a very solid QB in this league in a couple of years. When you have all the physical tools anyone could ask for, and pair it with someone who's humble, competitive and incredibly hard working, it's hard to fail.

He's much more advanced than Cam was at this stage. The only thing Cam had on him are lbs/more physical running style.

It would be fun to see Mariota okay the Colts twice a year, but I'm two years the division would be tougher because of it, IMO.

He might have some technical advantages over Cam, but Cam's arm was better.

I think he'll be good, but I think he needs some refinement. If he goes somewhere with a QB guru and can sit for a while, that will be best.
