Recommended Posts

Just watched report on ESPN that DHB appears to have sprained his knee today in practice. Not good, I wonder how serious it is? and how long he'll be down. Hopefully he starts the season would LOVE to see him 'light up' Oakland. Anyone with news keep us updated plz.

It's a knee sprain....relax

That's also what the Colts thought when Edgerrin James tore his ACL in the 2001 season.

And a brused knee for Marvin Harrison in the 2007 season.

My point is whenever a knee is involved I never feel comfortable until they have played a few games on it.

Darrius Heyward-Bey hurts knee in Colts practice

here are articles

That progress may be on hold for a little bit. Craig Kelley of the Colts website passes along word that Heyward-Bey sprained his left knee at the team’s practice on Sunday. There’s nothing more about the extent of the injury or possible timetables for return at this point, but it’s a good bet that Heyward-Bey will see some time on the sideline and miss next weekend’s preseason opener against the Bills next Sunday.

It's a knee sprain. He could be back as soon as next week.. No need to rush it. Benn for Philadelphia had the same injury and only missed a week. I'm sure he will be back by week 1. But hopefully he will be back for the final pre season game to get some reps in.

And yes I would LOVE to see him light up Oakland.

I think he should take it easy during preseason. No reason to risk anything until he and the coaches are comfortable getting him out there. Hopefully, the time out doesn't hurt him much, but on the bright side, these younger guys can take advantage of increased reps

on the bright side it's NOT a torn ACL or something. I agree with taking it easy i would be shocked if he plays Sunday.

just saw on Rotoworld... Great News.

Coach Chuck Pagano said an MRI on Darrius Heyward-Bey's left knee came back negative.

The MRI confirmed that Heyward-Bey did not sustain any ligament tears. As previously reported by ESPN's Chris Mortensen, he has an MCL sprain and is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks. The Colts have officially listed DHB as "day to day." T.Y. Hilton is going to run away with the No. 2 wideout job.

Beat me to it. This is very good news, but it seems like everyone is sold on TY over DHB. Not saying I agree or disagree, though.
