Fitzpatrick or  Campbell?

Dunno?    No idea.

But I don't see the Colts entering the season with Harnish as 2nd string.

We're now a playoff caliber team.   Every game is a must.    If Luck goes down -- even for two weeks -- do we have any chance at all to win if Harnish has to start for two weeks?    No.    No shot at all.

Can't start the year with him as the primary back-up.

You under estimate Harnish...

I think many here WAY over-estimate him.

Not really. He was a stud at NUI, and has major talent. He dropped to the last pick because a knee injury. It wasn't even that serious of an issue any way.

He has a bigger arm than Luck. That doesn't make him better. Biggest arms don't mean the best. Say a Stafford to a Brady.

Harnish isn't a Painter QB. He has talent, and we'll definitely be okay if Luck went down.

I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

Not sure there's a word in this post of yours that I can agree with....

So.....   we'll just disagree....

You're a big man in the media. I'm sure you could get a set-up with Nunes.

I'm sure he'll be a great back-up to Luck.

I would never underestimate Harnish

+ Ranked 4th in country as a senior in total offense yardage.

+ Averaged 328 yds per game as a senior

+ 4th college player of all-time to pass for over 3000 yds. and rush over 1000 yds in the same season.

+ 15th in nation as a senior in passing efficiency with a 153.01 rating.

+ 2011 top rushing QB in the nation with 1379 yds.

+ Responsible for 92 TDs at NIU

+ Named MVP of Mid America Conference as a senior

+ Named MVP of MAC championship game 2011

+ Named MVP of Humanitarian Bowl 2010

+ Named MVP of Go Daddy Bowl 2011

+ Owns 30 all-time school records at NIU

+ Has quite a reputation for his photographic memory and ability to engineer wins.

+ I'm trusting Grigson on this one.

I'm not a big man at all in the media.   My media days are over.   And a set-up with Nunes would never work.

He's a great kid,  but a horrible quarterback.    Horrible.   I maybe a Stanford fan,  but I'm not blind to it.

Big deal?  ~3 million per season for a QB isn't that large.

As for Stanton, this is probably the best opportunity he'll ever have to start.  If the Cards are wise, they won't reach for a QB in the 1st (Geno could make sense, but otherwise, most don't grade that high).  If they pass on 1st round CBs, and actually give him a shot, he could surprise people.

I do think Kolb is all but gone there.  He's not Arians' guy, and he is paid like a starter when he hasn't done much.
