Former Colts OT Tony Ugoh Retires [Merge]

Biggest disappointment in recent memory to me. He had a great rookie season and showed a ton of promise. Then he just seemed to quit caring. There were questions as to rather or not his heart was in football, as he was a standout track and field athlete. Apparently, that question has been answered.

It's unfortunate because, as Rexall said, he had a good rookie year and showed lots of potential. It's not easy to play in a Peyton Manning led offense, but he did it well as a rookie. But if his heart isn't in it, it's better he does something else (as long as he doesn't hurt anyone). That way, he gets to do something he is passionate about and someone else gets a job in the NFL.

A little surprised since he only played for five seasons.

His desire to play was always in question. One of the reasons that he fell to where he did in the draft. A pretty fortuitous career for somebody that really wasn't all that into football, though. 2nd round draft pick. Super Bowl champion. Probably made enough money to live a relatively comfortable life if he is smart with it.
