I picked some underdogs this week so who knows I may fall behind early. I usually win when I can get about 4 or 5 game lead on most. Week 1 is tough to call.

You just never know with week 1. It’s truthfully hard to predict any game the first 2-3 weeks. And then for me it’s still pretty tough the rest of the season. 
 

I will say the Ravens need this win more than Kansas does. As we’ve seen in the past all Kansas needs to do is just coast along to the playoffs and win their division. 
 

Eagles vs. Packers is hard. Both teams far from home… Eagles don’t have Kelce anymore to anchor the offense… New coordinators as well…

Nah really, I just think these forums competitions are great fun - this one, the draft ones. I like football, but normally I only really follow the Colts. This makes me look into other teams as well.

It's the smart pick. The Colts are 0-9-1 in the opener over the last ten years. The Texans looked like the better team in the last game of the season, they won a playoff game on the road, and they've probably improved their roster in the offseason. I hope the Colts win, and realistically they can, but smart money's on the Texans for this one.

2.5 point underdogs. That’s a pretty tight spread for a team that can’t win an opening game… I think Vegas doesn’t know what to make of the Colts yet. And I’m sure most of us would agree with them. 
 

Need to break that streak and win at home this season. Start a new chapter for this franchise.

Ok? 5 on the road, but they aren’t on the road, so it’s 2.5… That’s not exactly a vote of confidence by Vegas that Houston is going to win this ballgame. Its tight. Given all circumstances surrounding it, it’s very tight, imo.

Yeah, but the patriots are like half a team at this point? They basically have no Oline.

 

I've acutally seen speculated their Oline being so bad was the actual reason they aren't playing Maye.

The only other road team that’s favored this week is the Vikings, and only by 1.5, over the Giants, who are generally expected to have a worse season than the Colts. The Texans have now moved to -3 in this game. I don’t think it’s tight, it seems clear that they think the Texans will win the game.
