As i had explained that Willis wasn't a great fit for any high quality D, this is a good out for us. The Cap $$$ will come in handy.
I do wish him the best in his ministry.
And maybe he sits out a year to get back to 100%.

I respect his decision and wish him the best.  Seeing that its a higher calling for the ministry makes it easy to understand the retirement from NFL football.

From a selfish point of view as a Colts fan, I do think the bolded is correct.

As a Christian, I wonder if the NFLs “wokeness” had an influence on his decision? Maybe, maybe not...

Huh? I don't want to derail this thread, but that seems to be a stretch. I know plenty of Christians who don't view social changes as a negative thing. Might you be imposing your own views into the situation?

There are certain things within the “social changes agenda” that are unbiblical. That’s not my opinion, it is a fact, if you know the Bible. I’m not saying it had anything to do with his decision but it could be he disagreed with how things are going and what is acceptable.

Love thy neighbor as thy self,

Not much more woke than that!

Agreed.   Thanks for saying it.

Personally, I hope we are paying Khari his salary just as we did with Luck.   That would be a classy way to send him off.

Luck was battling through injuries, couldn't get healthy and wore himself out mentally trying to get back on the field. Khari wants to do something he enjoys more. Totally different. It's fine of him to do what he wants to do, but would you pay him if he wanted to play basketball?  No different.

Best of luck to him. Timing was very strange, so I wonder if we know the whole story.

Regardless, he's a great kid and upstanding young man from what I've seen and read.

Wish him the best and God's speed finding what truly makes him happy and whole.

There are many elements within today's wokeness.

Some are very Christian-like, some are outright anti Christian, and some who actually attack faith based groups.

Have no clue the impact to Khari, but personally I doubt it had anything to do with it.

Not trying to be political, but only point out there is a lot of grey within the topic.
