Vikings should have a pick in every round. You know that Rick liked having many picks.

Adding this:

I checked the full draft order at Tankaton Draft Order. It seems the Vikes have 8 picks but no picks in the 4th round. 

 

The Lions have 3 of the first 34 picks. The Eagles have 3 picks in the 1st Round while the Giants and the Jets each have two in the first. Conversely, the Rams do not have a pick until late in the 3rd.

Sure, meant to check with you about this year draft, so good to hear about this. 

 

I was not available last year, good to know it went smoothly with some changes to the format, I'll read about it. 

 

Vikings seem to have 8 draft picks (5 in day 3 draft, only 3 in first 4 rounds), I'll take them. 

 

I'm open to have more teams as well, in case of any shortage in mock drafters.

Thanks for letting us know. I will be making a month long international trip between mid April and mid May, so there is no way I am going to be available to do commish duties either, just a new development. I may or may not participate either, depending on if the mock draft happens and ends by tax day, April 15th.

When will work for you? You're very dependable. If you cannot be a commish, it will be hard for this to take place.

Not for commish, just participating will work the last week of March and first week of April. Too much work to do.

Will likely make a call about 3 weeks prior to draft. That leaves plenty of time to pick teams, and get things ready. You want to let the combine get done, all the sites get their big boards and ranks up, etc..

 

Overall, it's mostly about prep work (to make sure things go smoothly) and having the key parties available at the same time to keep the train on the tracks.

Keep in mind a lot of Indy fans are also fans of IU, Purdue, and ND (or teams local to them) basketball, and have switched gears to CBB and looking forward to March Madness. Also, what time is it in Chennai at 6:30PM Eastern Time (New York/Indianapolis time)? I don't want to ask you to be commish if you have to stay up all night (Chennai time). 

 

I think the draft should run the way it did last year. Every GM was assigned a time. If they miss their time, the Commissioners will select Best Player Available.
