I love the guy. I will take him as my head coach any day. I loved the move. Had they kicked the extra point, they would have lost too. They were playing against Aaron Rodgers. He would have won the game for them.

Nah you dont know that for sure, it was dumb, you play for a chance to go to OT. Analytics are making these coaches look foolish

Especially with a backup QB.

I think that is why you go for it. They are 2 yards from winning the game with a backup QB. If it was tied, the chances of Aaron Rodgers winning the game is higher.

Bad play call. He could have run it in.

Someone should gather the stats of how many times a team has won or loss when going for a win on a 2 point conversion on their last play of the game, I bet its a lot different then just looking at the percentage of 2 point conversion working. Seriously these coaches putting stock into 10% in their favor and not accounting for situations is hilarious.

49ers rolling the falcons 31-13. Not that we really care much but hopefully 49ers carry that onto next week on Thursday and roll the Titans.

If that happens Frank would be kicking himself for putting the 2nd Titans game in Wentz’s hands by the goal line and later and not in JT’s hands.

Its like it has taken some time for Frank to realize our best players (OL and JT) despite stacked boxes and that probably cost us our division, IMO. There are lots of things he has done right but what I said above has a lot of truth to it.

If that Titans game had happened a few weeks after I bet Taylor gets the ball in overtime. That game was like rivers last year against browns. After that game rivers played within the game plan and didn’t take stupid chances. We will know after Thursday what a AZ win will mean. I think SF wins. Boss will destroy Tannehill. Then they have dolphins which won’t be easy. Dolphins defense is playing really well.

A loss against AZ could move us clear out of the playoff picture again if other teams win. We really need to win that game. Hopefully AZ continues to struggle saturday.

Steelers in KC I feel good KC will win. Which will help.  Pats play bills so root fot pats to give bills another loss.

I 100% agree.

Belichick going for 4th and 2 signaled he wanted to put the game in the hands of his best player Tom Brady and not putting his D that was gassed on the field vs Peyton that day.

Staley has lost more than won on 4th downs, Harbaugh has now cost 2 games going for two now.

It’s not like they didn’t move the ball on GB, the Ravens with a backup QB. Plus they forced a FG and a stop their last 2 defensive stands, right (for those using the “it’s Mahomes on the other side” or “it’s Rodgers on the other side” reasoning to absolve these coaches). I didn’t agree at all.

It’s more like we all  (Frank and everyone else) realized Wentz is not the type of guy who could carry us on his arm without mistakes. It’s always a “yeah but..” with Wentz against playoff calibre teams, especially with the talent assembled by Ballard on the offensive pass catchers side.

I don't think Frank thinks that about Wentz.   He pounded on the table to get him here.    He needs more consistent targets though

He can’t carry us right now because we aren’t built with good enough WR. So we have to roll with what we have but I expect that to change in the offseason.

You shouldn't need to cheer for the Patriots, if the Bills win they'd actually be leading the division (they'd have a division record tiebreaker over the Patriots), and you'd be ahead of the Patriots in the standings with a H2H tiebreaker on them.

I know in the end it doesn’t matter who wins that pats bills game. I sat if we win Saturday it doesn’t matter. If we lose Saturday then we need to root for pats.

It’s ALWAYS  Fun for me to watch Brady lose, in any uniform :)

Dennis Allen has beaten Brady 4 times in 5 meetings as . I’m really surprised no one has copied his formula for beating Brady.

Also, you have to consider Cooper Kupp and JT for MVP.

I'm sure that's why I watched until the end. :td:

Not enough teams can replicate that. Probably the Rams, Broncos and Patriots can do the exact same game plan. Colts tried to but Lenny and pass rush was the difference maker. It also helps when your top 3 weapons are out

Fantasy playoffs start today.. and Evans is now doubtful. Gronk just collected his first catch and Brady has no Godwin who is the only person he likes to Target in the past month... FML

I got a dud performance today from Connor, Evans, and Patterson. At least I had Mark Andrews and Mahomes lmao. I still have Jefferson and Gay left and am up by 20

Both losses to the Saints last year in the regular season, all of the key starters were healthy but then, they had Brees but that is not the point, Dennis Allen has had Brady's number when he was secondary coach.

This year, he beat them with Evans and Godwin healthy along with Fournette till the end before their bye week and now this. Yes, you are right, Rams, Broncos and Patriots have the DBs to do it but only the Rams have the offense to match. However, beating Brady in the playoffs, that 20-24 point window is the magic number and if you keep him there, you have a very good chance. Only Peyton and Foles have beaten Brady when he scores over 30 points. You can pretty much forget about beating Brady in a shootout, which we tried and shot ourselves in the foot against the one guy who would make you pay.

So are the Saints to Brady's Bucs as the Dolphins were to Brady's Patriots? Granted, the Dolphins never swept a Tom Brady-led Patriots team (and the Saints have now done it twice), but the Patriots almost always had a late season loss to the Dolphins that would outright kill them in playoff seeding (2015 Week 17 loss cost them HFA to the Broncos, 2019 Week 17 loss at home cost them a first round bye to the eventual SB-winning Chiefs).

Where would the Bucs stand with the Packers on tiebreakers? Common opponents? Kind of funny since the Bucs finished 2nd in the division last year they avoided playing last year's division winners (Seahawks and Packers) this year.

Packers finish with Browns and Vikings at home, then at Lions. If they win out they get home field. They should win out.

I had the highest scoring team in the league. Conner, Evans, Gronk, Brady all wasted me. D adams got lucky to get a TD. seems like the same story for me every year lol.

    • One name that everybody on this forum has ignored is Xavier Weaver from Colorado. He's got the right height and runs close to 4.3. I watched pretty much every Colorado game bc of Deion. He is a pretty good deep threat if we don't take anybody in round 2. Good with the ball after the catch as well.
    • Turner weighs about 15 lbs less. Think Ngauake. Do yourself a favor and checkout the weight of the best DE's. There is a power element when you are fighting with a 315-325 LB tackle.    Latu is an interesting specimen. He is not at all ripped with his upper body. With his shirt off at the combine I considered him comparatively whimpy.    And watching game tape his attack I found that I couldn't quite tell why he was so successful. I have since watched him training and had media that I could slow down.   Perhaps because he isn't muscle bound he is very flexible. He does get low with a twist and knee bend and remains smooth. And he does it quickly.  This is Elite.  So i'm watching his attack with his arms and I will describe it like a fierce swim, windmill thing, both arms swinging forward, and it sure looks like the tackles can't time a defense to the motion. Yet he seems to, letting him knock their hands down with precision,, then he instantly drops his shoulder and bends and explodes around them.   He certainly isn't muscled up like the freak Joey Bosa, but against college players it sure looks very similar.   His upper body isn't thick but watching him run through the heavy bags he hits them really hard with a compact motion. He is physical and plays fast.  Let's hope he once and for all allows Ballard to take the dunce hat off regarding DE.
    • Around the three minute mark, he starts talking about being medically retired by Washington. He got injured, and while he was still working through his options for surgery and recovery, the program told him they were going to medically retire him. Before he got the surgery! He has the operation, then goes out and plays rugby two months after a cervical fusion. That's the Poly way. He had an offer from a pro rugby team in Seattle, but turned it down to keep playing football.    So yeah, it's right to be concerned by the fusion and his recovery, but it's seeming like the medical retirement was overblown because of how Washington chose to handle it.
    • In fantasy world we could get DeJean with second round pick and trade third and whatever it takes to get Aiyuk. Think that would qualify as a home run draft.
