Anyone else tired of Mahommes entitled and immature wife, brother, and mother?

Please people..... you are Embarrasing yourselves.

Enough already.  Nobody cares.

They are like those little inspection stickers with the  numbers on them clinging to the shirt you just bought.

Very annoying.

Can a mod change it to family. Calling it a posse has a different conotation. Plus never seen the people who normally make it up (Friends be an issue).

On to the actual topic though, ya I would be incredibly annoyed as him, they are using his fame to get famous when they all need to shut up, as none of them have anything about them except causing issues. I mean look at Pat Mahomes, he was a profesional baseball player, he is the one that is actually a famous to a degree, and he is the one who isnt doing anything out there to bring attention, they need to follow his lead. He needs to help Patrick by controlling to a degree the Mom and Brother

I never thought of the “posse” connotation.  Good call.

Reminding me of the Ball family.

All good, ya posse is normally the friends, crew of the famous person, think entourage. That way the connotation shows what you actually meant just to make sure no other things.

And Except at least 2 of those kids could at least play,

They are kinda acting entitled like an entourage would.

Mahomes' mother is the one who annoys me the most. Patrick is a grown man and a father; isn't it about time she let go? He doesn't need his mother's constant interfering.  His wife/girlfriend (are they married or still engaged?) seems to have some attitude problems. I don't know much about his younger brother; only that incident about throwing water on fans.

I don’t understand them honestly. Of course I don’t know Mahomes, but from everything thing I’ve seen he seems like a genuine, humble dude and a good leader. How someone like that is surrounded by such airheads, I don’t know.

Mahomes fiancé owns a sports apparel company. I think his brother helps her manage it.

I don’t let what others post on social media bother me. There are a lot of what they call anti communities. I don’t get them at all.  It’s not good for your mental health to pay attention to people that make you mad. They don’t effect anything in your life.

Just the fam trying to lick up a few drops of the huge pool of fame and fortune Pat Mahomes has fallen into. People will do anything for fame nowadays. Just go to youtube and see some of the ridiculous crap people do for views. Its a problem for sure.

Looks like half a billion dollars and the entourage is affecting Mahomes mentally. League high or close to in turnovers, Chiefs are. It starts with Mahomes.

Makes you appreciate guys like Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rodgers who have done it at a high level year after year. This game was a microcosm of the season for Mahomes.

Peyton had a D that put him in a hole on and off too but he still kept us in games in the regular season.

Yeah but some people scorn those who "abandon their family"... I had seen many a person have negative comments on Aaron and his family situation.

There will be always plenty of time to kiss and make up with family after your playing career is over. After all, family is "supposed" to accept you, no matter when you go back and make amends, right? If they are causing you a distraction during your career, you know your mind as a player the best and do what is best for your professional life. "Abandoning" a support system that can sustain itself is not the same as abandoning a spouse or child that rely on you, IMO.

Jarring? Is that like canning vegetables, but the new england equivalent?

Pretty sure they meant JAWing...

I've definitely heard jarring used as arguing before but jawing does sound correct.  maybe i've heard it misused before and incorporated it into my lexicon.  Whoops!

As much as I don’t give a hoot for the KC QB, I do care about his health.

I scariest thing I saw during the game was when he started to scramble, tackled from behind and the gigantic freight train of a defensive lineman nearly jamming Mahomes head back to almost snap it off!

But the most dangerous and dumbest thing done was his teammates getting him to his feet! The trainers should have run out to keep him down and assessed his situation.

Anyone who knows about spinal cord trauma knows what could happen to the cord hours later.

Is the KC QB ok this morning?

Other than that, I don’t give a( I’ll be nice) a “hoot” about him off the field.

:sleepy:

Only time I've heard jarring being used is when meaning something like startling or surprising.

But the choice is there.  You can choose to allow the family parasites to latch on or you can cut them loose.  Either way - as we are seeing here - there can be blowback by either decision.

On a more football note - Mahomes is really learning adversity in the NFL this year.  Every great QB has had to deal with this.  Russell Wilson is dealing with it this year and it has been going on for a while in Seattle as they are not the team they once were.  The question is how will Mahomes respond?

It shows how fragile the dominance and greatness of a player/team can be.  It will be interesting to see what happens next for Mahomes and team.  I don't really care about the family drama.

Mahomes is a great QB but when ESPN and some others were trying to put him the GOAT category after only playing 3 years, I lmao . He has a long way to go before he is Tom Brady or Peyton, or even Montana. I would take Elway and Rodgers over him too. Brees was better too, JMO. Mahomes is great like I said but has a long way to go before he even enters top 10 all-time material.

Now, Brittany retweets a sentiment about replays being shown about Mahomes' hit being barbaric, and she is getting blasted for it. LOL. They are eroding the goodwill that Mahomes is having, his entourage, IMO.

Siara (wife of RW) and Gisele (Brady's wife), they know how to take a backseat despite their high profile careers of their own. I sense this "me, me, me, look at me, look at mine...generation" in Brittany, it is all fine as long as she doesn't drag Patrick's football into her posts. I do remember "my husband can't throw and catch" from Gisele though but someone egged her on after an emotional SB loss in Indy to answer a question and she took the bait. Just my observation.

Its the same people who raised a QB that thinks a stupid annoying haircut looks good.  A little "off" is expected by the whole bunch. LOL.

His mother texted Gisele "is it really winning when you cheat"?

She said refs influenced the SB for the Bucs. :D

Mom's are always right, she is the leader of the 'Posse' lmao . Mahomes himself seems likable to me. Some can even argue he is already top 10 QB of all-time, he is that great but still needs 4 or 5 years of longevity before we put him in the all-time tier of Tom, Peyton, Montana, Unitas, Rodgers, etc.. All those players have won more League MVP's and as many or more SB's/NFL Championships. If the Colts get eliminated, the SB I want to see is Mahomes vs Rodgers because whoever wins that will get #2 and tie Peyton in that category. I doubt either will ever win 5 League MVP's so good luck with that angry peyton manning GIF by Gatorade

What does his hair style have to do with anything?

LOL.  I knew you would comment on the hair style comment.

IDK, just going through the thought process as he looks in the mirror.  A little more shaved on the sides, and fluff the top up even more, so it looks like the mane of an Arabian horse......there...perfect....that looks great.   Now I can go out in public.

Just a little "off" on how the Mahomes genes perceives things I guess.  Works for QBing though.

I'm not sure how old you are but I'm guessing you're an older white man like myself.      We don't really understand the younger kids.    I never understood getting sleave tattoos,   but do want you want.   Who am I to tell anyone what to do.?

    • It depends on how good AR will be, if he is good we can win 11 with the help of another great player, we won 9 with Minshew, should have been 10.
    • Gotta have a trade partner.Big ? Is would Arizona trade back that far knowing they’re gonna miss out on one of those top 3 Wr’s.I would also call New England and Los Angeles too.I don’t see MHJ getting past the 4th pick unless a Minnesota or Denver trades up for one of those top QB’s.I also don’t see the Giants if they stay put at 6 not taking Nabors I think that’s who they got they’re eyes on with that pick.
    • I think this probably isn't an objective viewpoint. I think you want fireworks, and you're an eternal optimist. Nothing wrong with that, but I think a more practical viewpoint is to acknowledge that taking huge chances isn't exactly a recipe for success. (You're going to point to examples that worked out; I'm going to counter with twice as many that failed.)   The bolded especially. First, it seems like you chose 11 games because you feel like that's the target to keep up with the Texans. Second, I don't think the Colts are one player away from keeping up with the top tier of the AFC. I think a lot has to go right for the Colts to be in the mix with the Chiefs, etc. I said at the beginning of the offseason, I think we're still one draft class away from being in those discussions.   But if you can talk yourself into one guy being the answer, just one playmaker holds the key for the Colts to be in contention, then yeah, identify your favorite prospect and bang the table for the Colts to do whatever they have to to get that player. That would be awesome for us. But I think the reason Ballard doesn't do that is because it's flawed team building (historically speaking), not because he's afraid.. You can promise steak dinners based on your hunches, but that's not exactly how I want the GM to make decisions.
    • Even in 2021 draft Chase was selected 5th by the Bengals, best move they have ever made. That gave Burrow gigantic help. They did the right thing and got Burrow what he needed.
