He was fairly accurate for most of those games, one INT in those 6. Not bad for a rookie, the best of the bunch. Not great, but definitely did not suck.
He killed us yesterday almost as much as Mixon, scrambling and hitting guys down field when it looked like we had him. He’s trouble for the next 10 years or more. Already a top 5 QB IMO.
It does have a different prep/maintenance routine. It needs to be backfilled, sprayed down, and raked periodically. And there might be a learning curve for the staff, but I'm sure they have plenty of support.
The condensation theory makes sense to me. But if Bravo is right and players were slipping in preseason -- I honestly didn't notice it -- then maybe that's not it.
First , zero idea if this is the case and it's pure speculation and a guess on my part - it's possible the new turf has a different prep/ maintainence routine than the previous one and our staff is still getting used to it, or the players are still experimenting with different cleats for this specific surface.
I agree that JT seemingly misread the defense on the 2-point play. I don’t think 2021 JT gets stopped short. With that being said, it’s clear that Houston’s game plan was to take JT out of the game and they did that. Our O-Line also didn’t play very well. I’m hoping with time and reps they get better. It’s only the 3rd full game with AR. These things take time
