frank gore interview

Why did the reporter Miss Anderson ask him why Frank Gore retracted his offer to Chip Kelly in Philadelphia? He didn't. Nothing is written in stone until you literally sign the dotted line. Coaches change their minds all the time about who to keep & cut. Why can't players? It was a really lame question IMO.

What I loved about Gore is the last thing he said to Miss Anderson. "Nobody cares who gets credit. We just wanna win." There's 2 words for that: Championship Pedigree.

Frank's soft spoken & all business. I love that man. Sweet!

I came to post about this interview and I am glad to see it had already been discussed.

This cat is the real deal. PERFECT for our organization!

Like he said... he may only have two or three years left but, I certainly feel that his influence will far exceed that.

Whomever we draft to be the next RB will be in good hands.

I, for one, hope it is Jay Ajayi. I just have a good feeling about him if he is drafted by us.

the question about "redtracting" from philly did seem slightly awkward, but to credit Gore he answered it humbly & seemingly honestly, so I'd say it gave him a chance to "clear" himself of the FA process, not that he needed it, but still...

Gives him the chance to start with a new team, a clear conscious, yadda yadda...

anyways, glad the guys gonna wear a horseshoe...

Remember when Reggie came to training cap with his Hard Hat on? Well, Frank is the exact same way. That is the mentality of a lot of guys from the U. They put in work and are extremely humble about it. Andre is the exact same in that approach and I am so glad that they have made the transition from the U to the Shoe!

Just nasty, if Gore can stay healthy potentially paired with a nasty young RB whomever that may be I think us fans are in for a real treat. I think the OL will be ok as long as they can stay healthy, unfortunately that's something that the Colts have had issues with for awhile now.

I think the Colts will be a championship caliber team it just boils down to how healthy the team can remain. I understand players being dinged up but hopefully they don't lose anyone significant.

    • Only if Sheldon isn’t available.
    • Yeah, Ebukam almost looks clumsy next to Latu. He's just so fluid.
    • Did Hou actually get that much better? This really does remain to be seen. I am of the opinion that the signing of Diggs is a signing that has been made about 2 years too late. He won't be bad, but he isn't a top 10 WR in the NFL anymore. I wouldn't put him as any more dangerous that Pittman, so WR's are a push. We have the better RB, Mixon is great and all, but he is not JT. We have the better Oline, and it isn't even close. TE's are a push, we have a lot of upside, but until it is realised im very "meh" on our TEs. QB - I would argue that Stroud is probably more likely to regress to the mean in year 2 vs improve. That rookie season of his was a bit silly, and they had an easier schedule last season too. If he really does build on last year and get even better, then our entire discourse here is probably irrelevant as we will have another Mahomes level QB on our hands to deal with in the AFC and within the AFC South no less. So unless Richardson is also a Mahomes level talent in that scenario, we are done for anyways. To me, our success in this coming season comes down to 2 groups on this entire team. 1. The QB (because... duh) 2. Our DBs. If we even get average play from the DBs, I think this team has the ability to win the whole damned thing (supposing Richardson stays healthy and is what we all hope he is). I would also argue that Houston are paper thin. If they lose a OL starter, Mixon or even one of their starting WRs.... they have a very big drop off. And injuries happen in the NFL. Just sayin...
    • If he wasn’t fast enough or athletic enough anymore for linebacker, then he’s not going to be able to cut it at Safety where speed , quickness, athleticism are even more important.    Wish it wasn’t so….
