Gore and AJ deals set up the same way: Most of the gtd money comes this year, $5.5 mil (btwn both) gtd in '16. No dead $ for final year

We're lucky Grigson has the type of job security to make deals that look towards the future instead of the instant gratification type.

He is definitely a calculated thinker.

The colts have a dedicated cap/contract structure guy. It's all he does and he's a cap wizard. I'll see if I can find his name.

Wow.  That's a pretty sweet contract set up.  And when you compare the deal we got with Vontae to the contracts some of the other top CBs have signed, we got a steal there.  I'm interested to see how the Luck contract shapes up

McCreight and Jimmy Raye, who was a finalist for the San Diego Chargers' GM job in January and left the Bolts organization after he didn't get it. Mike Bluem handles the contracts. In the end, the system calls for the GM to gather information from all the people around him, then meet with the head coach to discuss what the final call will be."
