That was an ugly game. Panthers didn't generate any defensive pressure and couldn't stop the run. When they did Dalton threw the INT.

We should be able to get into Dalton's facemask all day. It should be a good day for us.

Ya, but the Panther's defense is horrible this yr and I don't see dalton being able to keep up with Luck...if cam put up over 30pts with one good wr and te in their home stadium Cincy's defense doesn't stand a chance (especially if Green is out again next week) against Indy.

The tie adds half a win and half a loss to their record. At 3-1-1 the Bengals have a .700 win percentage.

It prevents a tie in the standings, which makes a tie-breaker useless, we have to finish with more wins.

it definitely hurts them. The Chargers are looking strong to take a top seed spots with Ravens and possibly the Browns are going for the late wild card run.

 

I remember the 49ers also barely made it to the playoffs with a tie with the Rams. And the Rams were eliminated immediately as soon as teams reached 9-7 because of their tie weeks before.

what's the dilemma?! cincy's tie obviously helps the colts more than if cincy won..

 

and having to play a tough 75 minute game hurts their recovery process.. 

 

oh, and the colts have a long week and a half to rest..
