He hails from Charlotte NC as his wrestling hometown..He's like a big hero there..The Panthers even do a WHOOOOO chant before their games..Then, they saw he was with the Niners...Steve Smith and Flair were good friends until this happened..Its caused quite a stir in Carolina..

Lets say Flair won't be welcome at any Panther games for a LONG TIME

i would just show video of mcglynn and satele playing horribly.  then i would make pagano sit down and give me a good answer as to why they are even on the team.  he wouldn't be able to get up until he gave me 2 good reasons.

i would give pep a few pointers on how to call plays.

i would tell landry how horrible he is and that he is making too much money to never make any plays

thats about it

McGlynn is actually an average center, so there is a reason for him, Pep has been good at playcalling recently, and Landry isn't horrible.... your an awful "fan"

For someone who berates another for using the word "horrible" in another thread you sure seem to think it's ok for you to throw it around.

A bit of a hypocrite, no?

I would say:

Now, let's analyze what's been working for us. NOT A * THING'S been working for us. Like this darn suit doesn't work for me... and this stinking tie... and this darned shirt. IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME. YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY WINNING HARD-NOSED FOOTBALL? YOU PLAY FOOTBALL LIKE ED GENERRO PLAYED FOOTBALL. A guy who gave his life for this football team. He was a 140-pound halfback, and HE PLAYED LIKE A darn WILDMAN! NO! LIKE A darn RAMPAGING BEAST! And that's the way you got to do it! YOU GO OUT THERE! YOU TEAR THEIR $%#*ing HEADS OFF, AND YOU $h1t DOWN THEIR NECKS! Let us pray.

Its funnier to see it than read it:

The armchair GM runs strong with you, I bet you could manage a quality SB caliber team in Madden!

    • I really want to win. It doesn't matter to me who the GM is. If Ballard, AR, and Steichen succeed and make us a playoff contender every year, I'll be fine with it and be happy to root for this team. I'm just sick of the losing and missing the playoffs. I trust Ballard in the draft, I trust Steichen as a QB guru. It's time for us to win, and if it's Ballard that does so, we won't have to do a complete rebuild, and that would be the biggest positive and best-case scenario that could happen.
    • Am I the only one who really hopes AR and Steichen end up being a success story and this hypothetical Ballard firing doesn’t happen?
    • You were picking better than me most weeks, just had unfortunate luck once or twice, I definitely earned that last spot. My average was pretty bad week after week.
    • You are missing out a rather LARGE piece of the puzzle in your factoring here. We had last season's win numbers with GARDNER FREAKING MINSHEW at QB practically the whole season. Love the guy and what he did for us last season, but he isn't exactly a world beater at the QB position. AR brings such a different dynamic to this offense and teamm, Shane is going to be chomping at the bit to get started this season. The sample size we saw from AR last season was small, but it was definitely encouraging - especially considering we were all expecting him to be much more raw and inaccuarte. He basically red-shirted last year, learning the NFL game and in Steichen's ear the whole time, while learning the playbook inside out.  Our team has fundamentally stayed the same as last season, which damn near won the AFC South with Gardner at QB for the love of god. Now we add AR to that mix, as well as some very interesting additions in Mitchell and Latu who could have very meaningful impacts. The fact that we are so under the radar is almost laughable - AFC South isnt going to know what hit it.
    • Great points!  I would assume the Irsay’s would conduct the interviews. If Steichen is given more control he would as well or the new GM could decide his fate like Ballard did with Pagano. Several ways it can go and we are a few years away from it even happening so who really knows. I’m hoping none of it matters and the team becomes a true contender and this discussion is merely killing time.
