  1. i cant thank everyone who posts these updates enough.
  2. the last time i played madden, its been a while, didnt they have a rating that basically equaled experience or something like that? my guess is that why it is low initially.
  3. that site doesn't allow browsers with ad-block on. that's gonna be a no from me, dog.
  4. Turn overs. that is all. seems to be something we are preaching. and he brought in guys that are proven effective at it.
  5. what about Steve Spags? is it time he gets another chance?
  6. are you kidding me right now? who is this 21guy? this sup guy? you think you can just post this stuff? huh? and then link the other posts? really? who do you think you are? some moderator or something? some all knowing poster guy? nice job man
  7. I like something to do with The Swarm. If our front three can show up this year, everybody we brought in at linebacker, man, its going to be crazy. I'm hyped for this year.
  8. thats something that i noticed with all (okay most) of the people we brought in. watching their highlights (yeah, i know) they all tackle well and create turn overs. gonna be exciting this year if we can be half in the league in turn overs.
  9. i dont care to quote anyone's post, but didnt KC already have a pretty stellar defense before they drafted Poe? pretty sure lions d had a pretty good d line when they drafted ansah. thats kinda what i would call a luxury pick of sorts while they waited for him to develope. i dont see where we have had any of that kind of opportunity for the past 4 drafts to be drafting they way we have.
  10. No, he would have to admit that he made that mistake twice.
  11. Am I ready to give up on the team right now, no. but i also see it being hard to get past 6 games this year. we are really not that good this year. call it coaching, talent, play calls, execution, whatever. doesnt matter. our division has improved, like it or not, or believe what others are saying about their play, they have built their teams to stop and combat us, and it isnt going to be that hard this year. sure we are missing players, but i really dont think they are going to make that much of an impact to make the plays that much better. we have some serious flaws. why cant we tackle? why are our plays so predictable? why do we start so slow . . . . .still?
  12. not going to argue on the fact that he has slowed down, of course he has. name another active pass rusher with more years under his belt . . . but he has really no one else on the team right now that other teams really fear. if you can game plan against about the only player you have to worry about getting to the qb, and he has slowed down, yeah, its not that hard after that.
  13. I have tried to watch him, as much as I could, and from what I have seen, he has a done a pretty good job so far. to piggy back on what PFF said, he has also been doing a good job of calling out defensive pressures, and making sure the o-line as a whole is on the same page, which is what you want in a center. now that doesnt speak to what has transpired after the snap, but he can only play one position. overall, i am really happy with the pick.
  14. I don't feel like the coaching staff is going by 'the best 11 guys on the field' rule. I get Gore is on a "pitch count", but that isn't going to help you if you don't win the division. There we times I wondered where Parry was, and why not on the field? And I don't think we are playing to our strengths either. Poor playing calling at the wrong times and not with the correct group of people in.
  15. we cant contain, we cant cover, we cant protect, we cant run, we cant pass. what the hell are we doing
