Trent Scandal?

Remember.....

Investors Business Times is not the originator of the story....    TMZ.com is....    and they're pretty accurate on these type of stories....

Here is the original....    it's not much different than what you've already read,  but I'm linking it to show credibility....

http://www.tmz.com/2013/11/12/trent-richardson-sex-tape-indianapolis-colts/?adid=hero5

By the way,  as long as the women are adults and consenting,  which the story implies they are,  then while this is embarrassing,  there doesn't appear to be anything illegal about it....

So,  Trent maybe OK....      I'm sure Irsay/Grigson are not happy....    no one likes distractions....    I'm only saying that legally, Trent would be in the clear.....

Who cares? Is he married? Does this affect anyone?

Well, it doesn't bother me personally and for other die hard football fans, it won't affect them other than lunch topic fodder or whatever.  But keep in mind that the NFL and players invite the idea that they are role models for kids.  So everytime you see a player get busted for drugs or does soemthing that is at least morally detestable to another human being, whether agreeable or not, the NFL image takes another hit and for some parents, all they need is a reason to not like football.  And the NFL cares about that.  It's not the die hard fans they worry about...they know the revenue and viewership will continue from that group. It's the casual fans that may stop watching, even if for a period of time, because it's players do something that fans don't agree with.

But it's nothing illegal. It's not something he promoted, it just got out. Depending on the circumstances of its release, he may be more of a victim then anything else.

Everybody has sex. It's not a big deal. And if this is something that breaks football for some. Good riddance lol.

    • Colts would still be in Baltimore if they build them a new stadium, but no.After the colts are gone Baltimore builds a new stadium and takes Cleveland's football team. Should of kept the Colts to begin with.
    • To be clear…. There has not been a suspension for a second violation.  This suspension is for the original incident which happened three weeks ago, back on April 17.   I think Doyel issued two apologies.  One that night and the other the next day.  Honestly, as awkward and clumsy as it was, I thought Doyle actually meant well.     I dislike Doyel as much as anyone.  But I think this is a bit of overkill.  I don’t think it comes from the Indy Star.  The newspaper is now owned by Gannett which owns USA Today.  Corporate wheels move very slowly.  I wish this had blown over.    If I had thought for a moment that Doyel was being a jerk or a bad guy in any way I wouldn’t mind someone dropping the hammer on him.  This all feels a bit much, but life is often unfair.     Ok…. I’ve defended Greg Doyel.  I’ll go take a shower now.
    • I wonder if Pierce might be used more instead of just being a deep threat?
    • I'm watching an NBA game for the first time in at least 5 years. I don't know any of the players but Turner looks familiar.    My brother is right. They are playing a lot faster than what I remember in the past. It is a lot more fun.   Maybe I don't remember but it seems that the refs are not calling Traveling as much as they used to. Is that right? They are letting the guys play. It is much more fun to watch.
