It has grown as much as it's going to grow here in USA. Baseball was America's pastime for most of our history and football easily surpasses it in popularity. WE now have a generation of young men who grew up playing soccer as kids and nothing has really changed. Football's numbers beat not just soccer, but pretty much everything in America. It has it's place with hockey, NASCAR and track (my favorite).
