    • He's a little too much of a bragger which  tells me he's insecure .
    • Franchise tag, Giants just did it with Barkley so they could sign Jones to an outrageous contract.
    • It's not just about his longevity/second contract. It's also about his talent. It took him 5+ years in college to get to that level. This says something. Stroud and Young were there pretty much in year 1.  He's a 25 year old playing against 19-20-21 year olds. He's been around for years and years... he's physically matured, he has tons and tons of experience, not just playing, but also going through a season, learning the job, etc. (BTW this is why I actually think he's a good candidate to be immediate cheap backup for a team, he's mature and about as ready as any QB can be).   A lot of what you are seeing from Bennett right now is due to the experience advantage he has over pretty much every single player he's playing with or against. Similarly this is part of the reason in the NFL rookie QBs rarely if ever succeed right away and even mediocre backups or bridge QBs take the job from much more talented players in the beginning - they've been there, done that. They know the whole deal and they don't need adjustments and much learning. Similarly, Bennett has gone through numerous cycles of learning and drilling of what's required of him. And of course, he still needs to have some talent to get to the level he's gotten, but there is difference in levels, when we are talking about the top prospects who are at the same(or quite honestly - better) level he is now at age 21. I think with the Youngs and Strouds of the world have much more room for improvement than someone like Bennett or Hooker...    BTW this is part of the reason I favor Richardson over Levis - Levis has already been under 2 NFL coaches ... and he still has some serious issues with mechanics and poise and feel for the game. Richardson has not had anywhere near the level of coaching Levis has had IMO. It seems like he didn't even have a QB coach the last two years. And yes, he's more raw than Levis but again... at the age Richardson is now, Levis was holding the clipboard for Sean Clifford. Give him 2 years under a good coaching staff and I expect him to be much better than Levis.
    • Thats a non starter. This makes no sense and Baltimore would never agree to this. So you are Baltimore and are going to wait till 2024 and 2025 when those 1st round picks would most likely be in the late 20's? Need to do research before suggesting possible trade routes. I think if the Colts wanted Lamar, they could get by with  just giving their 4th. Baltimore is kind of hooped so if I was making the trade, I would offer the 4th and then wait till my phone to ring. So many teams are out on him  if we  believe what we read, so the Colts would have leverage. Pus a GM is never going to agree with waiting till 2024 to 2025 to show what he got for Lamar. He has to show the masses this year what he got in the Lamar trade, as he will be getting a lot of heat. Say he trades the #4 and  then turns around and say drafts Levi or Richardson and it will keep the wolves at bay. Or better yet trade back and get more picks and go with Hundley tank the year and Baltimore gets #1 pick in 2024. Now thats a plan!!
