2 players I'm excited to see progress next year

Donte Moncrief.

Newsome had seven sacks as a rookie (not bad at all) and Moncrief showed many flashes of potential. Anyone else excited to watch these two next year? Both could be big players on both sides of the ball.

I was guessing you'd say these two when I saw the title, and I absolutely agree. We hit the bullseye on those two IMO. Moncrief I'm hoping will break out like Alshon Jeffrey did in his sophomore year, and Newsome should get double digit sacks and even more production. They will definitely be big parts of our team for the next decade.

if mathis comes back even half of good as he was, we could have the pass rush we missed this year.

Same here. I was surprised at how fast he is. He's got some speed for a guy that big.

Werner actually did progress this season, but not as much as I'd hope. Maybe I'm being a little hard on him since we've had free and Mathis all those years.

Adams? He's like 100 years old. He wasnt great, he was just a way better option than what we had in Howell and Sergio. I dont look for Adams to progress, I look for him to be replaced.

I expect him to progress quite nicely, year in year out just like AC. I believe he has a to be our RT of the future

BINGO! I am going to focus the majority of my interest into his progression this off season. He and Holmes.

I'd say a little more speed/athleticism than Jeffery, but not near the ball skills that Jeffery possesses.  Jeffery also has some of the strongest hands of all the WRs in he league.  I'm still very excited about Moncrief.

Werner didn't have that bad of a season. 50 tackles and 6 sacks.

 

If he can get to a reliable 60 tackles, 8-10 sacks a season, I'll be glad.

Jack Mewhort for me. I think he'll grow in to a reliable solid guard for us for many years to come.
