Cox and granson got work with starters. Other three are going to be fighting for spots.

Well assuming that’s it for AR, not a great start. But main thing is no injuries.

Yeah, I hope that’s not it because it wasn’t very impressive and didn’t instill confidence. Offense isn’t looking too great.

Paye with good pressure. Quick dump down, gain of 5. Good combo tackle by Speed/Franklin. Came up quick out of deep zone.

Nice run on 2nd down. Just shy of 1st down.

3rd down and short- Run up the gut for about a yard and the 1st down.

After the touchback, why did the ball come out to the 20 and not the 25?   Anyone know?

Good question- I didn't even notice, nor do i know the answer. Different on punt this season?

We know Denver has a decent defense. Mix that with AR just not having much experience and being off from real football for so long…

I’m chalking this up to knocking rust off and some jitters. Definitely gives Shane plenty to focus on next week.

1st down- holding on Lewis. Great pressure.

1st and 20- Single high press coverage. Throw up the sideline one on one against Jones. Good tight coverage and batted down.

2nd and 20- Latu with good pressure. Batted up in the air and KENNY MOORE WITH THE INTERCEPTION.

Not at all worried to be honest. Expected if anything. Already needed reps and now he's rusty as well. It'll get better.

INT!!!

Well, I gotta say AR performance was not confidence instilling. Hope he gets better.

Luck didn't look too hot when he came back from his surgery either. its been a while

AR needs the work.

He needs a lot of work.

Can he improve his accuracy?  Can he thread the needle on 3rd and long?  Not today.

    • I agree   There are so many QBs that take time to develop   Richardson is not at his peak yet. Its all about repetition.     Richardson needs to keep learning and keep practicing    Josh Allen had a 52% completion rate in year 1, 58% in year 2, 69% in Year 3 Year to date 2024 he is at 73%   Will AR follow the same path? Who knows?   There ARE plays where he is pin point accurate, so to me that shows the potential   I personally believe that there will be more and more as he gets actual game reps, and learns to read the field     Our current biggest problem is lack of imagination and lack of playmakers on defense.   Our DC had great success with this current defense in years past, but the OCs have learned to beat it   They have moved on, we have not.   Our second biggest problem is at GM   Its clear that this defense is short on playmakers   We had the cap space, we had opportunity, We chose to do little in the offseason    How in the world do you give up so many yards rushing to GB???   How do we not change in game?  How are we not prepared for either team?
    • Not when you're getting gashed from the opening kickoff, players shouldn't be worn down till the second half into the 4th quarter. In the first 2 games we've gotten run over from the first hand off. The Green Bay game we had really good run defense the entire second half, but, who knows, the Packer backs could have been gassed from all the running they did in the first half.
    • Does anyone ever wonder how our opponents can seemingly have tight coverage on our backs, te's, and wr's so our qb's have to "thread the needle" so to speak(Manning and Luck were always making throws that you don't know how they ever completed their passes). But for the past 52 years we don't cover anyone, seriously, I've watched every game since 1996(Sunday ticket) and the most frustrating thing about Colt football is we don't guard anyone. Opponents wonder through our secondary uninhibited virtually every play. It can't be that hard to cover someone sometimes, our opponents do. Even though through the first 2 games this season we've had A LOT of wide open receivers and backs, this offense is loaded, give Richardson time he'll get the ball to them.
