Sorry, but Sam has impressed me so much today.  He does really well throwing on the move.  As someone pointed out earlier, that's a feature we don't get from Matt or Foles.

You underestimate Matt’s ability to throw on the move. He can navigate the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield. Y’all are literally basing your perspective off 10 pass plays last week? I’ve been watching him his entire career, every game.

Yeah, leaning more and more, day by day, that we will keep 3 QBs now?

Unless the just keep Sam and try and trade Foles? Frank connection obviously hurts that some.

Sam has looked really good. Tough to overlook.

I think Sam has made the case for us to keep 3 QB's.

Did he have a similar game last week?  I still haven't see the tape.  He has been a presence this week, for sure.

I thought he played well in the first game and he made plays today. At the very least I hope we give him a practice squad spot.

That was not a very good onside effort Verity.

Was 4 for 4 on other kicks though.

Nice to see what we were hoping to see.

Strachan and Dezmon producing in game action.

Another great performance by Sam.

Dayo looked good again

Weatherford looked pretty solid again

O Dang Bo looked good

Wilcox? Might be his last game

Cross looked solid

Run defense wasn't good at all.

Didn’t like the 2pt. Conversion call at all.  Oh well.

Why?

It was either tie or lose. There is no overtime.

Nvm, you mean the actual play call, not the decision. Me wither. Lol

It would be nice to win one of these preseason games, but I like how Frank is putting players in situations that they could experience for real and as long as we're reasonably healthy and thumping people next month, I'll be satisfied!

So which 5 get cut this week ?

Wilcox-CB

Verdell-RB

Jackson-RB

Mollete-C

Patton-DT

Should only need 4 again, as Ogletree wasn't replaced.

Wilcox - CB

Fernea - WR

Verdell - RB

Patton - DT/ Redman - DB

My early list.

    • This is really a non-story for me. Rodgers has been part of the entire offseason until now.     Honestly this just shows to me that wherever he is, it is very important to him. We also don't have a right to know since he doesn't want to share.
    • I’ll also add: Plenty of time still in the off season, so perhaps he’ll work out with his receivers somewhere between now and training camp, and this will be the non story it likely is.    Probably would’ve even matter but it’s the offseason and everyone is bored out of their minds.
    • It’s just a bit interesting how not long ago he mentioned how if he fails a lot of people will be losing their jobs, Saleh included. Robert really has no choice but to play it cool since everything hinges on making Rodgers happy… but man oh man I’d bet he’s screaming internally in his mind.   Historically, Aaron struggles with timing and working with his receivers early in the season. If it happens again you can be sure the NY media will bring it up.
    • Are we surprised atp?  Jets better come out rolling or the NY media will eat Rodgers up.  This isn’t Green Bay.  NY will tear his butt up.
    • Well….  I don’t think CTE.  But Roger’s has an enormous ego and has ALWAYS thought of himself as the smartest person in any room he’s in.   He always thinks he can talk his way out of any issue he’s facing.  It helps him sometimes and hurts him in times like this.     FWIW:  Salah, the Jets HC says there is no problem, all is good.  But it should be noted Salah is sitting on a red hot seat.  If the Jets start slow or struggle he becomes a candidate to be fired.  His leash is SHORT.
