It's very disheartening. When AR isn't in the game, JT is less effective. In Sunday's game the Vikings got something like 140 yards on the ground. No one is going to say Darnold is a threat with his legs. Their O line is (supposedly) not as good as ours. So it comes down to the play call.
When will they realize that every D in the league knows that they're going to run behind Nelson and they just pinch the gap.
I have to admit, I'm starting to get depressed over the management of this team, from the GM to the HC, to the coordinators. They can't pin this all on AR.
The competition he played as a starter his junior year was meh. The only notable conference teams out of his 12 game stint were Georgia and Tennessee, everyone else STUNK.
