Hurts....but we got pushed around in the trenches, which was surprising to me.  Everything behind the trenches became collateral damage on both sides of the ball.

Some positives for me:

- Wentz is tough, accurate, and has some ability to improvise.

- Our backs were able to find some yards that just weren’t there.

- Our receivers made some tough catches.

- I was back in Lucas Oil Stadium on a Sunday afternoon!

Seattle’s not a team to start a season against while trying to shake off the rust.  Coach and QB are entering their 10th season together.  We’ll get better.

I thought the offense was vanilla but good. Wentz can take a hit while throwing, and the line just has to step it big time. On D I'm slightly concerned with the talent and depth in the secondary. We got average pressure on Wilson and did a good job containing his run game, our secondary was just out matched and made mistakes. This game was a lot closer and better than it seems if we don't give up easy big plays.

I agree its not quite time to jump off a cliff, but I think its time to put Frank Reich on notice.

Idk what his philosophy really is. He is too conservative most of the time. He comes out every single game with that run-run-pass nonsense and only adjust when it doesnt work and we are playing from behind.

He is aggressive at the wrong/oddest times. It strikes me as desperation almost every single time he does it.

He is way too impulsive. First he chooses to take the points after watching his team move the ball effectively for over 9 minutes and where a failure pins the opponent deep in thier own territory in a 0-0 tie....... Then he goes for it down 11 with less than a quarter to go after watching his OL struggle all night long when he couldve made it a one score game. wth? Makes zero sense. There is a time and place to be aggressive. That wasnt it.

He almost tells the opposing team what he wants to do by his personnel groupings. Too many empty sets in short yardage situations for a run oriented team.

Id love to see Taylor and Hines on the field together. Jet sweeps to Hines off a Taylor fake could be lethal. I dont think Ive ever seen them even try it. They might be your two best weapons. Use them properly.

They need to get more creative with Parris Cambell. Last year I remember them giving him some specific plays that I didnt see today.

I dont mind if Frank wants to love TEs......but if he isnt gonna use them he needs to figure out a personnel grouping he can use to actually exploit a defense. I like Mo Alie Cox as a goaline TE,  but the defense doesnt really have to worry about him. Same for Jack Doyle. Jacks a solid player but he isnt striking fear into LBs either. When you take Hines or Campbell or Pascal off the field for them your just making it easier on the defense.

I also wanna speak on the handling of Carson Wentz. Because I understand you dont wanna put too much on his shoulders too soon.

BUT......you traded for this guy for a reason.......you obviously think hes a player and can be a difference maker for your football team.....you put a C on his chest despite the fact he has barely practiced thus far.......so *it let the man be apart of the team and show him you believe in his ability. Because what you put him thru today was much much harder than just asking him to be a playmaker. And it doesnt show him you have confidence in him. You arent doing him any favors by trying to handle him with kid gloves and today was proof of that.

I also have a question for the analytics crowd who defend Reichs poor decision making........if analytics told you that you could go into the worst areas of Indianapolis and flash 100 dollar bills without getting yourself robbed most of the time.....does that mean its a good idea? Of course not.

Frank seems to be a fine gentleman.

Damn Broncos and Teddy beat the Giants, just now seeing that.

I enjoyed the game. Teddy looked great. So happy for him. He was improvising and converting third downs. My friend, the season-ticket holder, was impressed. This is my friend who has attended 4 Super Bowls including the one that broke the Patriots perfect season.

Not only did she have to sit through that game her Vikings were beat in OT

It was a fun game. We had great seats. If I was a Giants fan, I may have been disappointed. I was rooting for Teddy and he played well.

Now, the Vikings are a different story. But it is only one game. Same with this Colts game. It is only one game.

Does what the Titans do really make a difference to you after a bad loss by the Colts?

It matters because regardless of the performance today and even a highly expected loss next week, we still expect or atleast hope to contend in our division and right now we're tied with Tennessee.

Our Division IS NOT very good. Even if we're only a average team we can atleast hope to contend in the South.

Yes your right we looked bad against a good team and that's unappealing,  but we had a bad off season and today's results are maybe disappointing but not really so unexpected..... Especially considering we didn't add a #1 playmaker WR, a Top CB, weak TE group, we're still unproven at pass rushing, acquired a injured LT who's not ready and unsuitable backups and the jury is still out on our QB.

Yeah that is good stuff haha . If we can beat Tennessee and maybe beat the Dolphins and go 2-3 we will be fine, beating Tennessee is crucial. After that we should be clicking and the schedule is easier.

If we can beat this team and maybe that team, the schedule will be easier and we can limp into the playoffs. This is total mediocrity. When you can't beat the better teams then why wish for the playoffs? Why make excuses and dream of making the playoffs when your shelling out 2 grand for season tickets and the game is a 3 hour distraction before going to work in the morning? I used to get really excited about Colts football. Loosing games really sucked. Now, I spend my time fishing the Gulf Stream for dolphin and wahoo, with one ear on the scores and the other on the boat engine. When I come back with 150 lbs of fish, the Colts loosing has minimal impact.

Major props on fishing such awesome fish. I live in Palm Beach County. Snook season just opened as I'm sure you know. I got one in slotted size so far. I've been Froggin( largemouth bass fishing with artificial frog to those that don't know the term) in lake near me but not too much success.

Been catching some Peacock bass on live bait, they are nice fish.

I have my share of activities, such as  tennis, golf, and recently doing a little fishing again. I watch the Colts when their on tv in my market and sometimes go to a restaurant to watch them. I don't get all hot & bothered as much as I used too when they lose... I guess I'm used and expect them to outside of Manning/Polian era lol.

Anyway, tight lines and good fishing.

Because once you the make the playoffs anything can happen, you seen the Giants beat the Pats in 2007 as a wildcard, we almost beat Buffalo last year. Why watch if winning the SB is all you care about? 1 team out of 32 does that, if you are waiting for that go play the lottery. We only won 1 with Peyton that is how tough it is to win a SB. Heck why watch the regular season at all, just check to see if we made the playoffs then tune in. Winning the SB is the most important thing but this SB or bust mentality is hilarious from many in here.

I haven't been to a game since 2013 when Luck took out the Texans so I am not shelling out anything, I am at home relaxing watching all the games for free so no sweat off my back. I have beer, food, and my own bathroom just seconds away. I watch because I still like the game, if you have other interests that is cool, like I said above don't watch. I have a friend that doesn't watch anymore either for reasons I won't say. On Sunday's he just goes to the casino now and has fun. It is what it is. I have been to around 50 Colts home games in my time - more than most (I have seen Dickerson, Harbaugh live and have been to a lot of Peyton games, a few Luck games), been there and done that but I still watch and hope for wins. I still love the game, I grew up watching it since I was 6 years old in 1977.

-The defense... nah, sorry... I can't do this. Nothing positive about that defense. Remember that thread about the Colts being top 3 defense in the league?  That's hilarious. If we are average over the season, I'd be happy.

And once again the pass defense was the biggest standout. Guys absolutely wide open and the nearest defender is miles away. Lockette getting wide open for a 69 yard TD with 30 seconds left in the half is inexcusable. Run D is fine but the pass D and pass rush is what it always is.

All I can say is call it what it is , Seahawks came in and was who we talked about being all camp . They physically imposed there will on us on both sides of the ball and hit there shots when they was there. They ran the ball physical I mean I only saw 1 run play out of the whole game where they didn’t gain 2-5 yards and falling forward. Willis got toasted 3 times on deep TDs where he just sat flat in his stance and never opened up his hips to run until the wr was right on top of him. Bobby is not physical enough to play the Mike this is where a lot of people thought letting walker leave was a mistake, you still need that 2 down Mike Lb that can thump, tackle and play downhill. Bobby met Carson at the point of attack sometimes but got steamrolled for extra yard where a true Mike would have stood him up no extra yards gained.
