Along with new Nike uniforms, the Seattle Seahawks are expected to soon reveal a revamped logo for the upcoming football season. And it’s looking like we might have a sneak peek.

Seattle Sports Central reports that there’s a framegrab floating around from an official Seahawks video showing an updated logo (see it here). Unless the colors just look completely wrong in the video, it appears the Seahawks are going back to silver and blue for their color scheme.

The logo mockup at right shows what could be the new Seahawks logo, if the newest leaked information is correct.

I dont like it that much. A little dull.

Please no more green....please

Those lime green uniforms reminds me of a new Crayola Crayon color called Radioactive, Glow In The Dark, Lime Green. Other than Sesame Street's "Oscar The Grouch," who would buy these jerseys anyway?

I suppose if your car broke down on the Interstate, you could alway use this jersey as a flare until help arrives I guess.

Ditto

It has more of the traditional Pacific Northwest Native art style to it...

That hit the nail on the head! Alot of Native American tribes out there. Also the grey is fitting for Seattle. The grey is the same color of the sky 90% of the year. it rains sooo much out there. I was water-logged out there for 10-years. . . .

    • In Indiana you can get a real nice 3 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms/showers/nice Kitchen/big living room house for 200,000 in a decent neighborhood. Where do you live NY or Cali , in one of the those states I guess it would be about 600,000 to afford anything like I talked about. I could never live in either of those states. If someone in NY moved here, they would be rich.
    • Smith has been having a hard time staying healthy the last few years and he's due 19 mil next season with no dead cap to cut him.
    • Well they replaced Strausser with Sparano which solved a problem.
    • I disagree about Smith.  He’s an absolute road grader as a run blocker. He’s graded as one of the best in that category.  His pass blocking was around 71 last year. Considering the need for knee surgery that’s pretty good considering the DE’s they went up against last year.    Fries was solid last year. He plays with a mean streak and through the whistle. Fries was better last year than Glowinski was as a Colt in my opinion. I don’t see any reason Fries wouldn’t continue to improve. He’s an ascending player.    I hope the Colts hit on drafting Kelly’s replacement.  It was good that he had a bounce back year after 2+ sub par years. However, they can’t pay everyone and having a center with a $14 million cap hit is too much.    You can’t pay everyone. It seems like the Colts have a plan in place to replace Kelly and/or Fries after this season but I expect the Colts oline to be even more consistent this year with a healthy Smith and a QB who is willing to stay in a clean  pocket.  I also feel like the depth is there to handle injuries.
    • One correction here.  The NFL has loosened the restrictions on veterans.  Six of the players have zero restrictions on how many NFL games a player has accrued.
