luck should be fine. Hooker and geathers are surprising.

Also, Tarell Basham didn’t practice but isn’t injured. What could that mean?

Sometimes pass rushers are late bloomers. There is still hope that the new coaching staff can help his development.

Basham looking to be a DAD so far fortunately.

There, fixed it for you =)

Hopefully we get something out of him. I wasn't hating on him, we've just seen nothing from him.... Dud, dad... Same thing :D

I'm not sure if you guys know this.   Football players get hurt.   I know,  crazy right??

That's crazy talk there.  I know during my playing days no one ever got hurt.

That's sarcasm for those that don't recognize it.

Significant injuries are happening all over the league right now. The Rams secondary just got obliterated. The 49ers season is basically over.

The league wants to focus on these player contact rules, but maybe they should be looking at how their preseason, off-season and practice rules are influencing conditioning for the long regular season.

We have one of the best conditioning coaches in the business and we're still seeing too many injuries in my opinion. I just don't understand how we and teams like the Chargers continue to be so unlucky when it comes to player health. Especially on the lines...

League definitely loses to many guys every year which sucks for the overall quality of the game.

No proof, but I feel like these guys are just way too big nowadays. I mean 300+ and run faster than dedicated track athletes. It's hard to last 16 weeks of that.

How people can just dismiss this as nothing with the way we’ve handled everything else surrounding his health during his career is beyond me.

We’ve struggled with honesty where that topic is concerned for some years now.

Maybe it is notbing.

But at this point I’ll rightfully hold onto my skepticism.

    • I will take a scene from Rocky 3. 80's and 90's were the best. After Homer gets destroyed by Tatum like Rocky did against Clubber, I walk in and tell Homer, you can't go out like that, we can win the title together like Apollo did. Homer would be like, I don't need this anymore, why you here? I would tell him, you can't pull it off without me because I am the best, you need better training. I am bored but great memories    .   Regarding the Rocky movies, fighters compared to real life fighters by Rolling Stone:   Apollo Creed = Ali Rocky = Rocky Marciano  Clubber = Mike Tyson Drago = Vitali klitchko
    • I would also say that part of the criteria for being put on the practice squad is: how much need is there for the Colts to have someone in that position on the practice squad?  If they have 10 O-linemen fully healthy, starters and backups, then there's little need for a backup swing tackle on the practice squad.  But if they have a rash of injuries, then the need is greater.
    • That's ok.  We can differ in our opinion. And - as an added bonus, we're not that far apart.  You're assessment they are "top 10" and my assessment that they are in the upper range of "average".  That would place them somewhere around 12 or so.  (Assuming average is the middle third of the league). Always good to trade ideas and opinions with you!
    • Honestly, you could probably place AR in both potential and concern depending on your angle. I think the Oline is better than average and at this point I think the Dline is a little overrated.    Our secondary is a big concern to me though.
