I’m going to assume both of these were in the process of being typed when I posted my notice, so I’ll let them slide, but these arguments are now closed for any debate! Thank you!

I said what I said to @HectorRoberts and regret nothing.

Complaining after what happened yesterday is one thing, and Chad and I talked it out like grownups. But that shouldnt preclude further discussion on how to improve other drafts going forward which is all @NFLfanand I were doing, albeit disagreeing on a fundamental level as to what constitutes "well run" - perhaps thats to be expected given our vastly separate experiences with this draft, but what is so wrong with that? Why should we have to pretend like everything is perfect when they clearly werent?

Its like you all are completely dismissive to me when you would have been equally let down if the same thing happened to you. But it didnt, so you just tell me to stop complaining, shrug it off and get over it. I did, but talk about it with other people who care about this game and people like Hector over here said I was being a whiny little brat - but I dont see you calling him out.

If this mock draft could do without anything, it could do without the favoritism and telling people to just get over, because no one else is upset.  Com'on...like really? Change the rules middraft, someone gets burned on it, but that person should "just get over it because everone else is happy?" Like I was over it until this. Bro, I was just talking about how to avoid some of the mistakes from this draft,  and Im a whiny little brat and complaining. Well now I am complaining, but it has nothing to do with this draft and everything to do with being treated differently than everyone else, but from what I gather, thats cool because no one else is dealing with that, therefor my thoughts are to be eagerly dismissed. Dock me of my picks, but Im not gonna sit here and take that sort of attitude from anyone, much less let it be apparently condoned.

It was. I was going to delete after I read your post.

I didnt think we were discussing anything wrong, and I didnt think we were arguing like children, disagree maybe, but so what? I didnt take offense and you didnt seem to either. If Im wrong about that PM me and I will make sure to apologize directly.

To the bolded section, I am not just posting that to call a few people out, I am calling out everyone. The amount of debate in this draft overall over simple matters is astounding, and I’m not directing that at any one person. I thank you for trying to help us to find ways to improve next years drafting experience, but it could have very simply been done by simply messaging a Commish such as myself what the issues were so that we could fix them. I understand you are angry, and I assure you that I am going to do everything in my power to make sure the rest of this draft and all successive drafts are much more clear on rules and such, but what has happened so far has been wiped clean, and I’m sure everyone, yourself included, would just like to return to the joys of drafting. If, per chance, you still have disagreements and wish to argue, just simply say something to a Commish and you will be removed with no further hassle to you, but if you wish to remain and have fun, we would all appreciate a friendly, welcoming environment where everyone is getting along. Thank you, and good night!

Fair enough, to be clear, whats over and done with is not what im upset about. Heck, im really not upset at all but for the fact people keep telling me Im complaining when Im not.  Anyway,  Ill pm complaints as requested, and Ill not make another scene - Ive said my peace.

For the record, you guys are really doing a fine job and I do appreciate it. I swear Im not trying to make it harder on you guys, though I know I am. Its just one thing led to another and I let myself get caught up in it. So, I guess I'm trying to say sorry to you and @chad72 for the role I played in it.

Thank you, and I hope you continue to enjoy the drafting aspect of this game! Of course, the rules will be adjusted next year for the best results, and we will need everyone’s suggestions for that, but for now, the rules that have been set will stay as they are currently! Have a great night!

So, just to clarify, who should I send my PM to in case I am not available to pick at 29, as this may be through the night for me?

Hoping @chad72 will continue but, based on his last post in here and the finality of it, not sure? :dunno:

@WarGhost21 ?

Ps, this is my first time doing a mock draft and, although it has been derailed a couple of times, I dont think it has been a huge issue, and have enjoyed it and thats in large part to Chad and others.  :thanks:

Just go ahead and PM it to all of the people who are helping us run this because I cannot promise that either of us will be on then, but at least one person is bound to be able to submit it for you! And thank you for your participation, we enjoy having you here!

Will you be assigning time slots?

I will attempt to clear things up here in a few hours when I have down time, until then, the draft will continue to run as is. Thanks!

Ive got down time, i can work on it or we can just wait, im cool with whatever. I just need to know when the first puck is due.

I believe that, according to the original rules, the current pick should be coming to a consensus now. Any votes for players? I'm not certain who is on the clock if someone could clear that up please?

@WarGhost21 - So far, @danlhart87 is on the clock, though he was never officially put on schedule except the status report that says what has happened so far in round 3 (i.e. 2 posts up from this).  Given I'm sure his confusion, we could let him simply come in and pick  by a certain time, which he's already requested the best available WR.  But just to give any other upcoming picks at least some notice, we should set a time out in advance as to when the next pick is due.  @IrishColt is the pick after.  Given it's a Monday and there's a decent amount of traffic on this day, I think we could give until 2pm at the latest and that should be fine, Irish Colt would have been officially off this website for a full 24 hours, so it's not like he's actively checking.  But again, I would be okay with just starting with his pick first thing at 8am tomorrow - he has come in and made all of his picks - if we want to be as fair and generous as humanly possible.  People won't like it, but they'll get over it.  Unless @chad72 chimes in and shows up with a PM from IrishColt.    Whatever you guys decide, I was just doing my best to bring us back up to speed and give you info to make a decision.

Ravens pick Anthony Miller WR

@Irish Colt

Great pick, one of my favorites in this particular class.  He's being sold as a slot receiver, but I think while that might be his initial spot that gets him early playing time, I think he could very well be a possession receiver type with #1 upside in the long run.

The LA Chargers select Desmond HarrisonWest Georgia OT  6'6"  292

The Chargers should be looking for an upgrade over Russell Okung and Joe Barksdale at tackle. Harrison has a rare combination of physical and athletic traits. As a former basketball player has tremendous flexibility and twitch

 Buffalo Bills - @WarGhost21 is next

Later tonight, all rules will be revised one final time in order to quicken the pace of this draft and help for following drafts!

That'd be a good idea, it looks like we're back on track, too.  so that's good.  PM me if you want any help drafting or just to review.  I'll try to get to it as soon as I can, but I have a meeting starting at 7pm and it could go as long as 2 hours.  So just so you know.
