Hey I noticed your sig....do you have any updates on Bob Sanders, where is he, how is he doing?

There was a little video on him in the summer.  He didn't make the trip to Indy for the Super Bowl reunion, but he said he's doing well in the video

I'd love to see him return to the Colts as a scout or DB coach or something.

    • Tackle?      Raimann is the LT.  Smith is the RT.   I think the only way that changes is if either gets hurt.      The Colts will likely look for a swing tackle.  A solid backup.   But my guess is that will be in free agency.
    • That would be a negatory big Ben. See no es comprende. Imposseble'  Or something like that.
    • Okay, Okay. Let’s say hypothetically the Ravens KNOW they won’t keep Lamar. Wait and see how the draft falls. If Arizona trades out and Will Anderson is available take him. And then see if we can entice them to give us Lamar for our 2nd and 4th or something and then our 1st and 3rd next year. We get a top flight pass rusher and a former MVP in his prime. *shrug*
    • Yeah for sure, you've acknowledged the risk. But I think your prospect preference makes you an outlier, especially if we're comparing to NFL decision makers, who are historically risk averse.   And I think a team with a middling QB has a better situation than a team with a totally non performing QB. Both teams still need to find a new QB, but the team with the mid guy can still run a competent offense and develop the rest of their roster.    And this is also why I want to really analyze the athletic QB thing in recent years. I agree that offenses have evolved and are doing a much better job of utilizing QB athleticism, and that makes it easier to develop a guy who is more raw as a passer. But I think maybe the necessity and overall value of a QB who can consistently make plays with his legs is starting to be overstated. Take Stroud, I think his level of athleticism is good enough to be a franchise QB. And I'm not the guy overreacting to the Georgia game; I'm not super impressed by how he ran in that game. Still have questions about how he'll handle poor OL play. I know if you're not dynamic with your legs, you must be excellent from the pocket, but I think you probably have to be excellent from the pocket anyway.
    • Well, interviews are the final determinant, after all.
