There's actually a few different scenarios playing with the machine.

 

If the Raiders win, the Bills-Jets game is immaterial. If the Chiefs win we need a Bills win.

If Colts win next week and Texans lose, tied at 8-8. 

Current strength of schedule is Houston 26, Colts 23. 

Texans win total is increased with wins by NO, NYJ and Cincy,

Colts win total is increased with wins by Denver, Atlanta and Miami. You can do the math from the remaining games below. Pretty sure this is all correct, but not 100% sure. 

 

Games still to be played:

 

JAX vs NO

Cincy vs Denver

 

NO vs ATL

SD vs Denver

NYJ vs Buff

NE vs Miami

Balt vs Cincy

I know our chances are slim & we need help from other teams but..............after all is said & done, with the year we've had & all the injuries, poor Oline play & a defense that invokes heartburn. I'm thrilled to be playing a meaningful game in week 17.  That is if Denver can cooperate tonight.

If that's a fortunate side effect of losing, then fine, whatever. But actively cheering for your team to lose, especially when they can make the playoffs, is for the birds...

Sounds good. I'm gonna cheer for the team to win because I'm a fan of the team. If drafting at 19 instead of 17 is the thing does in this team then the people that make decisions need to evaluated for dismissal obviously...

Call me crazy, but a lot of those games should turn out favorable.  Don't think Texans will lose though, so it doesn't really matter.
