Colts Vs. Bears Preseason Game Night Thread

I know, I know: "It's preseason" but regardless of this game, I am sick of this team investing nothing but late round picks on the OL, and only signing washed up vets or mediocre players and plugging them in. Sign an actual freaking good lineman and address the worst part of the team since Luck was drafted.

Parry looking great Freeman made a nice stop as well but Parry is still impressing me Walden really showed up today as well also i can just see that Geathers is gonna be a beast in this league as he develops he's fast and big for a safety great size but he looks good in there at dimebacker

    • I haven’t been happy with Shane’s decision making and play calling lately, but I do hope we play well enough that he stays next season.    If Richardson is to be successful, he at least needs offensive continuity with his coaches.    Ballard and Gus can go if that’s what fate has designed (though I see Chris here until at least after 2025).
    • Yeah expect another record breaking first half by the defense… Only hope is if the linebackers get their % together, otherwise it’ll be our safeties chasing down the running back 15-20 yards past the line of scrimmage…
    • Yah, I corrected the above and it was in 2023 for the HC position, but still... as a defensive coach, Martindale would have the biggest say and possibly the biggest disagreements with Ballard precisely on the side of the ball he has expertise in. At least that's my assumption. Of course, I could be wrong here and we will never know. I don't even know what would be big enough disagreement that Martindale would even mention it later after not getting the job.
    • I bet they wanted him to stand on the sideline in nothing but a pink silk g-string! Good for Wink Martindale refusing a demand like that. Good for us too!
    • No we haven’t. We used Johnson last year anytime Buckner or Stewart was out
