That Guy
He right now is on his way to getting 39 touchdowns. He is on pace for just under 4000and is throwing 68.3% I don't know where you got those numbers, but right now he has nine touchdowns in three games. That averages out to three touchdowns per game. The season is 16 games long. (3 tds/game) X (16 games) = 48 touchdowns
BlueCollarColts
He is also on pace for over 4,800 yards
Valpo2004
Don't look now but his passer rating is up to 103. Although we have to be careful because the Jags pretty much made every Colt's player look good.

CroatianColtsFan21
I see where's the problem.. op calculated averages per first 3 games and then multiplied with the remaining 13 games.. #science

CroatianColtsFan21
He might make those numbers if the Colts played the Jaguars every third game. That's his curent pace, just sayin..And he did have 370 yards against broncos and 3 td's against phily, so it means it doesn't need to be jaguars for luck to put up big numbers..That being said, i get what you are saying, those would be amazing nymbers, and not very likely, but doable non the less.. OffensivelyPC
He might make those numbers if the Colts played the Jaguars every third game. The pace is what the pace is. No one ever looks at it, especially after an outlier game and thinks he'll actually reach the ungodly stats. If he's throwing a consistent 68%, hits in the neighborhood of 4,500 yards and has a 2.5:1 TD/INT ratio, then he's producing well enough for us to make a deep run in the playoffs. crazycolt1
It's fine to think about those stats but the Colts are 1-2 right now. I would say wins are far more important than high stats for the QB. Manning had the most stats in history last season and didn't get a ring. Dr. Guildo
4,800 with 48 would be nothing short of spectacular. As it stands right now Andrew Luck is 3rd in passing yards & T-Rich/Bradshaw are 18th & 20th in rushing with both averaging more than McCoy. If you ask me this year will be one worthy of remembrance for many reasons.

I would say wins are far more important than high stats for the QB. Manning had the most stats in history last season and didn't get a ring. Tell you a story. Back in the late 80's and early 90's, I was a high school student. The Colts were not a good team, especially in 1991, but they were my team. I tracked all of the Colts players stats available. Back then I had to buy a USA Today for the official stats. I made player projections based on current stats, and the teams we would play for the remainder of the season. It was a pregame ritual of mine. It became a learning game for me. I would predict outcomes, and then measure those predictions. By measuring the predictions, I learned to hone a skill-set. The point is, what is important to you may not be important to someone else, and visa versa. There is a very good chance you don't give a rats behind, about what I did with stats when I was younger. I would not hold that against you either. It was something I did for me. You have no idea what is important to the original poster, just as he or she has no idea what is important to you. And let's face it, nothing happening in a Colts game this year will be dictated by a few fans playing around with stats. One has no bearing on the other. We can root for wins, we can root for stats, or we root just to scream about something. Sure we might be able to help draw a few off-sides or false starts, but what we do as fans has nothing to do with the outcome of the games. Stephen
Here's an interesting stat. Luck has thrown 9 tds this year but only two of them were to a wr and both were to Nicks.
ruksak
Yeah, the math is a bit screwy in the OP. He's staring down close to 5k YDS and 50+ TD's

All I was doing was making a comment that right now wins are the most important stat to me. I really don't see what your story has in relation to my comment? But if stats are your thing, go for it. coltsfanatic24
37 TD's 12 INT's, 4,450 yards, 66 %. Top 3 in MVP with Peyton and Rivers.

CroatianColtsFan21
i think this offense is playing well enough for luck to break the 40 td barrier.. probably not 48 but 40 seems reasonable.. i predict 40 td's , 4400 yards , 65 % and 12 int's oh, and a mvp award also ;)
ColtStronger
41 TD's 13 INT's 71% COM 4600 yds passing AFC South Champs and reach AFC Championship with a 12-4 record (13-5 total)!!
yakimacanutt
He right now is on his way to getting 39 touchdowns. He is on pace for just under 4000and is throwing 68.3%I don't think that means very much because it is all distorted by the Jags game. I wonder what other good QBs numbers would look like if they got to play the Jags twice a year. With all that said, I expect his numbers to be very good and the Colts won't go far if they are not.
