Questions:

What's do we still need?

Strongest position group?(Top 3)

Weakest position group?(Bottom 3)

#1 option on offense and defense, that isn't currently on the roster?

I think we still need a vet FS and maybe a CB, wouldn't be adverse to another LB that can cover.

Strongest groups:

1. OL

2. DL

3. TE

Weakest groups:

1. LB

2. S

3. RB(still anticipate adding here)

#1 option on defense - Q. Diggs FS

#1 option on offense - C Akers RB

Agreed.  And good options.  I'm sure Ballard (I hope) addresses both positions.  I like the young guys but we need a vet or two in the rooms.

I was kind of hoping we'd draft a RB in the 5th.  But there will still be plenty of choices even after the draft.  And Sermon is no slouch when he's healthy.

Yeah I was thinking so too, and we still might grab one here with the last 2 picks.

I think Akers would be a solid guy to bring in if not though.

Colts will have plenty of Cash/Cap to be very aggressive with UDFA signing bonuses if there are players they really like.

I'm not so sure how active we will be in UDFA. Obviously still bring in some, but don't know if it will be double digits like usual?

I'm having a hard time finding a guy for our next 2 picks.

After those, we will be down to 5-6 roster spots remaining, depending on Dabo roster exception status.

After that will have to start swapping out signings and releases.

Interesting Patriots double down at QB with Milton

Yeah, was just about to post I would like Milton and one of the remaining RBs, in the draft thread, and then Milton went.

Slovis or Hartman?

Jacobs or Watson LB

Who are some of the prospects everyone is looking at as potential UDFA?

Ballard likes positional competition , I think he signs a decent size class.

Probably will. Draft picks don't count as roster spot until they sign.

Doubled down on WR.

Only OT, RB, QB and TE + SPTs, went without an addition to it.

I think it’s going to be extremely hard for an undrafted free agent to make the final roster this year unless they just find a gem.

No doubt, roster is pretty deep in most places. Everyone on notice, better bring your A game.

Look forward to breaking them down group by group in here.

Jeblonski? Really.....  Some parents.

His dad was a Captain for some police dept, maybe campus. Idk, there is a story out there where the chief was fired and the Captain retired after some civil case.

I had Slovis as a solid day 3 pick in the QB tier pool after Rattler. I like this signing.

Yeah, I posted in the 7th round about him after Milton went.

I like it. Flacco will only be here for a year, so it'll be nice to solidify a #3 and possibly a backup in 2025.

Hoping we sign an undrafted RB or two for competition.

All the UDFA make some sense so far.

(2) QBs to compete for #3

Kicker to take reps in camp

Small school DT to let work for a few years on practice squad potentially

Like I had said earlier, I don't anticipate this being as active as usual with where our roster sits.

    • This really surprises me because I thought after last season the Reds would take a step forward and have a better record. It is early but they do look bad. Cubs have the night off tonight, Brewers play Cards tonight, I am actually rooting for the Cards lol.
    • She is currently at the height of her celebrity.   Luckily she has cashed in with endorsement deals.   The WNBA isn't an exciting sport.  They need to lower the rims .   Cheryl Miller is the greatest women's basketball player I have ever seen.   If Diana Taurasi, Lisa Leslie, Tamika Catchings (also a Fever player), Sheryl Swoopes etc can't get people excited about the WNBA no one will.   The WNBA needs players that can drive inside and finish.   That makes basketball exciting.   I would bet many WNBA players can out shoot many NBA players,   that doesn't bring ratings.  Lower the rim, let the girls play inside
    • Make that losing 8 games in a row now. 6 years of David Bell. Another season under .500 and no chance of playoffs. Why is David Bell allowed to be manager?    11 losses in 13 games. Nearly everyone is hitting below .200. Pitching has suddenly collapsed, can’t hit anything to save their lives. That’s NOT playoff caliber. Just another year of Reds baseball. #SellTheTeamBob
    • Homer and his 3 strands of hair -  . By the way, OG has been ruled out for Game 3. Pacers catching a huge break here. This is where the Pacers depth could still win them this series, we go 9/10 deep, they only play 7. Thibs and his nervous movements and 3 strands of hair is wearing his guys out. I am starting to lean toward that we win these next 2. Winning in NY will still be extremely difficult.
    • She definitely is a huge draw right now. I’m interested to see if it stays that way.  Women’s college basketball is more popular than the WNBA in my eyes. I hope she helps the league take the next step. It’s one heck of a task.
