  1. 1. QB Jake Browning had a career game for the Bengals last week. Will the Colts defense contain him to less than 250 passing yards and fewer than 2 touchdowns?

    • No, last week was no fluke.
    • I don't know enough about Browning to know.
  2. 2. What do you expect to see from Minshew in this game. (Choose all that apply)

    • He will have more than 250 yards passing.
    • He will have at least 1 TD passing.
    • He will have at least 2 interceptions.
    • He will run for at least 1 TD.
    • He will complete at least 63% of his passes.

Your Indianapolis Colts take a short trip to Cincinnati to play the Bengals. This game is crucial for both teams, as each is vying for a playoff berth.

Final Injury Report

Only two players, Colts RB Jonathan Taylor and OT Braden Smith, are officially ruled out by the time of the writing of this post. Buckner did not practice Friday. CB Brents, LB E.J. Speed and DE Ameer Speed are questionable.

No Bengals are out, but WR Tyler Boyd, DE D.J. Reader and OT D'Ante Smith are questionable.

What are your thoughts on this game?

Some here are fans of both teams. Who are you rooting for?

This is a battle of backup QBs. Who do you expect to play better?

Good luck! This should be a fun one to watch. Enjoy it. :colts:

the “worst division in the NFL” currently has 3 of 4 teams in the playoffs as of today.

Thanks again for opening the thread, NFLfan!  Good luck today against those pesky Raiders.

I voted

Our defense is better - Corners will have good day today.

1 TD - Moss has a huge day

1 or 2 sacks - we will stop the run today.

Colts win.  30 - 27.

LB's have have a good game today for us to win.  I hear from Bengals fans that TBE like to use screens and passes in the flat, which we are historically terrible at covering.

Go Colts!  All day.  Every day.  :coltshelmet:

Yeah, AFCS doesn't get much respect from around the league/media. Labeled that most years, can't say it this year. Probably won't be able to say it for a while in all honesty.

3 in the playoffs currently, and 1 team that still, no one still to play, despite their record. Hopefully the Titans can pull off a couple victories for us down the stretch.

Jags @ Browns...I'm still on the fence.

If Trevor plays then maybe I pull for them?  If not, then I pull for the Browns?

If we lose today I pull for the Jags?  If we win today then I pull for the Browns?

I'm so torn, haha.

I look at it this way, we just need to continue to win, I would much rather be a divisional champ than a wild card(both options are more than in the table now). Clearly will be happy with either though.

As long as we stay in front of Texans in the division, we should be fine in any tie breaker, 3 or more teams for the WC

Jag loss and Colts win and we are tied. They have the tie breaker, but have the Ravens next week. Can easily be division leaders next weekend, if we handle our business and Jags lose twice(very realistic proposition).

Pulling for Browns...I want that title and home game (Though we are plying better on road so far).

I can never, ever “pull” for Jacksonville.  Well, Unless against NE in an AFCG.

i root for the AFC south when the colts are out of the playoff race,

i do this because our division got disrespected for being "one of the worst in football: for so many years. So i like to watch AFC south teams smack other teams in the mouth when our Colts are out of the big race.

    • Id like to see more QB designed runs and stuff with options to run or pass. However I don't half way blame them for pressing pocket passing either bc at some point you know JT is going to get hurt. Might as well let AR get his feel for the pocket early in the season. Say what you want but plenty of guys are open. He's just got to place and complete the pass properly. So far hasn't been happening but we will keep trying until things improve I guess
    • But I think Adebaware is a better 3T than him. He's getting better and better.
    • Do people really think his progression should be a graph line going steadily upward? Really? Seven games. It's going to be up and down. Two steps forward, one step back. Sometines, one step forward, three steps back. Especially for a guy who is about as raw as they come. Fans better expect it.
    • I’m glad our team didn’t have the bears body language. At least they were encouraging AR on his mistakes. Williams on the other seemed like he is already on the hot seat and teammates are getting tired of it.
    • I will say this. AR imo threw the ball much MUCH better in his 4 games last year compared to his first 3 this year.  Not even close.   I have to believe a lot of that is due to him being unable to practice much on his mechanics until August or so.  Remember even during spring practice he was complaining of a sore shoulder and had to take some time off.   I fully believe that once he is totally over his injury that he will be able to take the extra reps needed to get back into a way of throwing without having to think so much.   I play a sport at a highly competitive level, won't say which one, but I broke my thumb this spring and I just now am start to get back into the swing of things.  But I am not even close to where I was before I broke it.
