Why give up draft capital to draft a QB when you could have drafted Brock Purdy. I liked Purdy in college but I also liked Jake Fromm . Fromm was so bad. I was so wrong about him.

Seeing Geno and purdy maneuver the pocket gives receivers so much time up get open. Man Ryan was bad in the pocket this year.

Austin Blythe is a former Colts draft pick. He has played on a lot of good teams. I think he won a Super Bowl.

No QB for the Colts this season had time to work the pocket. The sacks and QB fumbles showed that.

Just had a discussion with a friend. I think the same. Purdy looks way better than Lance.

This SF team is so good. I wonder how they will stack up against the eagles or the AFC. If they win a SB with Purdy Lance might be on the trade block.

Good teams draft QBs. The 49ers had Jimmy but still drafted Lance and later drafted Purdy. New England does that. I wish my team would. I think a QB should be drafted at least every other year. I don't mean in the first round. I mean draft them in lower rounds, like Purdy, Stidham, Cousins, Dak...

Well, the 49ers almost, too. Only the injuries to two other qbs got him the chance to show. But it's a nice story.

There is a Vikings fan who is an Iowa St alum. I wrote that I thought the Vikings should draft Purdy. He told me he was not a starting NFL QB. I told him we need a backup QB too.  

 

IIRC, I think Purdy did not have a good senior year. I believe his Junior year was better but I am not sure of that.
