Ouch to Ryan. In TC Nick was the one pushing the ball down field. Ryan wasn’t.

Don’t come in here and start winning games MF. Dropping to the middle of the 1st round because Foles comes in and we somehow win a majority or all of these last 3 is the most Colts thing ever and you can miss me with every bit of that nonsense.

Let’s hope the offense is better but we still lose in the end.

That's ridiculous. Everyone KNOWS that Foles can play. You need to give Sam run in real games to figure out if HE can play.

I don't understand the long-term logic in this at all.

We have Ryan under contract again next year; seems it would be easier and maybe necessary to keep him as a vet mentor over Foles. We just keep making weird moves.

This move should of been made a long time ago. When Ryan hurt his shoulder this is why Foles was brought in. Irsay screwed it up. If Foles had come in and win the WA and Pats game Ryan would of never been starter again and Reich would probably still have his job.

You have no evidence Irsay made the call on Sam. Zero, nada. Matter of fact, all Irsay and Ballard and Jeff have all said, who starts is the decision of the Head Coach. They’ve said it repeatedly. Yet you and others continue this drum beating that Irsay meddles in the starting line up.

until you can provide concrete proof from one of the 3 above or Matt Ryan himself, stop spreading falsehoods

Don’t be surprised if it happens, then they decide the QB woes are fixed and Foles is the starter next season.

We remain stuck in the middle because we’re stuck in the middle. This season has been embarrassing and has been an absolute chore to follow. But I don’t want to feel an ounce of hope at this point until draft time, because that’s how you get out of the middle. Any wins in this last 3 are just going to help keep us locked in this embarrassing middle.

I get people don’t want to lose games, but winning is literally standing in the way of us actually getting better and fixing our problems over these last 3 games.

We’re gonna be mid until we do anything about it.

Yah not sure why they are going with Foles when this is the perfect opportunity to give Sam another couple games to see what he can do. Last ditch effort to win a couple I guess. Hope they don't. Winning at this point does nothing but put us in potential QB purgatory for another year .

There is plenty of evidence. Guess you think media is lying.

It’s an absolutely horrifying proposition. See my last response in this thread. It’s time to take it in the mouth and just tank these last 3 meaningless games and actually help this team out for once.

1. Ryan has now been benched by 2 different Colts head coaches.

2. Foles is a journeyman QB, but maybe currently better than Sam Ehlinger. He gives the Colts the best chance to win, but he is NOT the long term answer at QB. Because Saturday is fighting to continue his role as Head Coach, he doesn't care about the long term ramifications on whether Sam can play at this level or not. He needs to win now to save his job. This is NOT the best decision for the Colts organization, rather a selfish one from Saturday trying to preserve his job, which already looks lost.

We all know he isn’t long term. But Foles is most likely the backup to a rookie next season. Or maybe even start if they get a guy like Richardson who needs to sit a year. So might be important to get him a few games.

What did you expect him to say? “Hey we’re gonna deliberately lose these next 3 games”

Why get him a few games, if he's going to be a back-up to a rookie next year? He can be a back-up now and a back-up again next year.

What we need to find out is if Sam can play at this level.

Let’s see them then? I’ve asked repeatedly for something that isn’t a media head speculating since September. No one has been able to do that. It’s all speculation.

maybe Irsay did, maybe he didn’t, the point being, we DO NOT HAVE ANY FACTS TO BACK UP THAT IRSAY MADE THE CALL.

That isn’t Colts football though. Colts football is just playing well enough to remain MJF levels of mid and trade down in the draft for prospects.
