Interesting mock draft, thanks for sharing. I might prefer more Linebackers and running backs  in draft more than O- lineman, because I personally feel our o-line will develop into a good o-line, we are seeing improvement in a lot of areas like pass protection( few sacks allowed, except in Jaguars game yesterday, run blocking has improved immensely, we need to work on preventing those skill move twists and stuff.

I will resign all those players, Turbin has played great for us in the red zone, and 3rd down, he's earned it. Todman is good for depth, I don't believe we will re- structure Allen's contract, he didn't play great this year, he knows that, he has talent. Doyle pay the man lol. I believe Frank will return, he's earned it.

Free agents are on point fits areas of need, and what about adding Nick Perry in free agency ? He's been very disruptive he's a great talented player. The one thing I don't agree with is cutting Langford, I agree take the older players out, we need to get younger, but I feel when Langford is healthy he plays pretty good. Trent Cole we cut, he's been playing better, but his age. Im so glad we don't have to cut Robert Mathis, I'm glad he left on his own terms. I believe Grigson should leave and we need to replace him. Maybe Peyton. Robert Mathis can help coach too. I love Pagano he's a great guy and motivator but not a great coach  so sadly fire  him, we have gave him chances to improve he hasn't. I wish him the best sucess  though, I wish it was in Indy, it will be sad if he's fired, but for the best.

I think Dorsett, T.J Green, Geathers, Edwin Jackson, Antonio Morrison, Hassan Ridgeway, Henry Anderson and others  will develop into better young players next year.

One last thing who do we hire as head coach and GM? We need to change this culture. Yes we need to stay nice and humble. We need more  fight and knowledge of the game. Better play calls, game plans and etc.. I am sick of all these poor starts, 4th quarter deficits, and ruining Luck's prime. Hopefully we get this fixed and become great. To think after the Packer game ( my second favorite team) that they would continue to win and make playoffs. Shame on me lol. And Pass rush! Keep Luck healthy. So to all Colts fans let's get Luck and the Colts  a Lombardi trophy.

I love Stephon Gilmore but I don't think he's worth that kind of money. He's very talented and has played very well in the past but he got burned way too much this season. To be fair the whole Buffalo defense regressed this season so it may be because of the scheme or coaching. Still I wouldn't drop that kind of money on him.

Very good attempt.  If we sign the FA's you suggest then taking a RB at one is guaranteed I think.  You have three instant starters on defense maybe four. The biggest need then becomes RB.  I would keep Langford though.

But with the defense that we get in the free agency and draft, it's a different ball game. We'd be in the playoffs if the current defense didn't blow 3-4 games

Why do people want to cut Langford?

He's our best pass rushing DL. It makes perfect sense because we can save $4M. The improvements we can make to the DL with $4M are limitless.

I think we are going to have some disappointed folks when it comes to free agent signings as well.

Are your numbers on the re-signed guys total for the contract or on a yearly basis?  I assume based on your signings from outside you are doing it total for contract.

If it's total for the contract you are underpaying Doyle terribly, your contract has him at just above 1M per year which for a vet is just a slight bit over league minimum.  He's probably worth about 4 to 5 mil per year at this point.  I really can't see him taking any contract that pays him less then 3M per year.

I think either way you slice it you are overpaying Turbin as well.  Turbin essentially came here on a league minimum deal.  If you look at his stats there is nothing he really did here which would give any cause to think he's worth much more then the league minimum now.  He's essentially just a Short yardage specialist/fullback in our system.

No idea, in 2015 he was a beast and him and Anderson looked great on the DL.

I get he was hurt this year but if you look at his history he's actually not in the least bit injury prone.  For a while he had the record for active DL of most consecutive starts.

Yearly, shouldn't posted that better, and Turbin was a fantastic goal line, and 3 down back. Was very productive for this team

He doesn't even have 200 rushing yards on the season.

Because he's not the starting back...? He's been fantastic in the redzone, puts effort into every run he has, and is way good for short yardage. 2.75m is really not even that much

Not a chance that Doyle gets a big payday, he's only had 1 ok/good season, and part of it is due to him being a 2nd TE, also an option after the WRs so he's oftentimes uncovered. Also, I doubt he wants to go anywhere other than Indy, based on all the sources.

P.S. Think of Steve Kerr or Kyle Korver making shots...yes they do it well, but don't confuse them for Ray Allen anytime. Doyle isn't the "I can create my own play" type player.

I agree that Doyle isn't that type of player, that's why I'd let him walk. But SOMEONE will pay him based on his productivity this season, count on it.

If I follow the OP's line of thought.....    he wants the Colts to sign FIVE free agents.....

Free Agency Signings

Ron Leary G 2 years 5.5 mill

Chandler Jones OLB 4 years 37 mill

Stephon Gilmore CB 5 years 60 mill

Zach Brown ILB 3 years 19 mill

Whichever one KC doesn't re-sign

Dontari Poe DT 4 years 45 mill

Eric Berry S 4 years 50 mil

I think the OP is going to be HUGELY disappointed.      I don't think we can afford all of them.

We might be able to this year, but you have to consider where their contracts might put us in a year or 2 down the road.

I think the signing bonuses alone would end this idea.....

I don't see Irsay writing so many large signing bonus checks.    This is far, far more than what we did in 2013.    Hard for me to see that happening.....

Pay the man but don't overpay! Half the veteran's minimum should be good!!
