I have no idea about that rule because of we don't down it, cant a SD player pick it up and run with it. I thought downing it was smart, shows how much I really know

really enjoyed the game tonight. Sets the team up for the visit to London next week.

We went to Bengals/Broncos game today,  got home in time to catch the second half of our game, and the Steelers / Eagles game was on.  

 

Luckily, that game was so far gone that they switched over to the Colts game and I got to see the last part of 3rd Quarter, and the entire rest of this Crazy   game.   

 

Happy Happy Happy for the Win....    Now get us another one over in London so my buddy @braveheartcolt can see a Win.

I went to a Bengals game once in Cincy when I was kid, my parents took me - pretty cool to visit different stadiums. I thought maybe they might take Denver but the Broncos just keep rolling. Dalton was off today. Regarding the Colts game, my stomach is still bothering me but we pulled it out. If we would've lost this one, it would've been brutal. Pretty good week overall.

It's always a penalty for illegal touching when the punting team downs the ball. Resulting in stopped clock and possession to receiving team.  Because it was the last play and defense committed foul the offense gets an untuned down

Does this mean if the receiving team never touches it and the defense never touches it, the game never ends?

No the official would rule play dead. Game would be over.

saved the season.....If Tennessee beats Houston and we beat Jacksonville...we're tied for 1st place

I thought the penalty was only because the clock had run to 0... 

 

Great win... It got ugly with some turnovers and lucky flags, but we generally played better than the score, especially in the first half before the OL injuries.

 

T.Y. and Frank Gore are gamers. Walden was impressive along with Geathers. Davis played a gutsy game coming off an injury.  Favorite play ( other than the 60 something yard TD) was the three man pressure that tore through the Bolts' line and ended in a sack. Mathis fell down, but it was still a great effort.

Great come from behind win by the Colts with Andrew Luck's 63-yard touchdown pass to T. Y. Hilton.  That play was spontaneous , and I admit I saw the play as it happened and it even surprised me when T.Y. both capitilized the play, and ran it through the end zone, for the 26-22 home victory, in front of their home fans at LOS (the building).

 

Also the 'Pagano Bowl' is officially in the past earlier today., and now Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano can go back and talk family with his brother, Chargers Defensive Coordinator John Pagano.

 

Now the Colts prepare both practice their next game, and make the necessary travel arrangements for their NFL International Game with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium, and televised back next Sunday morning in the US.
