Nothing helps as we just had Moore and others go down as well. I know we have a new DC and all, but the defense being this bad is becoming a meme to me at this point. The entire team possibly could be with how we start like this nearly every game.

Yeah it's very frustrating and I don't get it. This has happened a lot even in our 11-5 seasons

Punting on our three first possessions is not acceptable. Luck is partly to blame for that despite his stats for the entire 1st half. But most on the blame goes on the coaching staff.

So, what's new? At least the GM and coaching is consistently bad.

Putting the negatives aside, in the few times i have focused in on Kelly seems he is doing overall good for first game.  Anyone else have some observations?

Our lack of run game is a problem and our lack of defense is killing us. 

 

But Luck's not the problem. 

I was telling you that last season that luck wasn't the problem its the team around him that is the problem.

I really don't understand it. How we can go 11-5 and do that is just a feat in itself. I would prefer consistency over so many comebacks. My blood pressure can only get so high.

Yeah if we are going to run the ball I would like to see Turbin get a shot at a few carries.

You're down by only 11 and Andrew looks good. Teams can come back on the Lions. Look at how many comeback wins there were earlier. The Chargers lost after being up 21-0 or 21-3. No reason the Colts can't do the same.

Luck probably thought we had a free play there.  That's the aggressiveness we need to play with.  Nice big play
