Colts-Jax Predictions

Colts lose a close game.

Have you seen jax play, they are horrible, they have zero passing game, say hello to the number two pick, Colts roll and we

will stuck with the worst coach in the nfl. On the bright side after he goes 5-11 next year to they will axe him. Gabbard does not know what a foward pass is so lets contain our excitement when the shuts them down Sunday.

You mean the same team that pretty much manhandled us in our house 7 weeks ago?

If we tackle MJD well we will win. I believe there is no chance that we'll lose to the Jags in a game where we stop/contain MJD but somebody else on the Jags steps up to beat us. Also I think with the way our linebackers have played the last 2 weeks there is a good chance we do contain MJD. Finally don't the Jags have 30+ player changes over the course of this year with IR, injuries, etc. so I think it's a lot of our seconds and thirds against theirs and we still have more of our first string playmakers (Reggie, Garcon, Freeny, Robert, and maybe even Brown will make a play).

My gut is telling me we're gonna win. i got the same feeling before the Texans game.

I don't recall that feeling before the Titans game, but I was so confused by the 0-13 thing that I'm sure my "senses" were off.

I don't know why, but I feel a win.

And has the Defense changed that much? What is going on?

MJD is out?!

That's it then, we've won.

MJ will play, ..... I would be shocked if doesn't esp after reading their website, see below article

he didnt practice all lastweek due to an ankle injury and played, even re-injured it early and got it taped up and stayed in , played on it and ran for over 100, so I would say he plays and just isnt practicing to let it heal as much as pssible

And speaking of pain, there’s no question Jones-Drew is playing through it at the end of the season. He has had his ankle rolled each of the last two games, and has returned in productive fashion on the next series each time. He has run against defenses designed to stop him and despite very difficult circumstances, he has been a consistent, reliable presence on an offense that has lacked such things this season.

He’s almost certainly going to win the franchise’s first ( NFL ) rushing title Sunday, and he has a real chance to finish this season with more rushing yards than any back ever has rushed for in a single season in franchise history. Little question Jones-Drew deserves to set both marks.

What have the "experts" (I don't mean JIM... remember him?) been predicting for this game?

I haven't seen any predictions yet.

Maybe they are avoiding the pick. haha

Speaking of JIM wonder what happened to him? :???: He always had predictions and many other things also. haha

    • The criteria is the Colts want to keep you but you’re a fringe player. It all comes down to how much the Colts like your nephew. He could surprise and if he does they may not want to put him on the PS out of fear of losing him to another team. The good thing is the Colts love their oline players, and will keep lower level draft picks/UDFA lineman over other positions. There’s quite a few later round guys the colts have kept on that have shown to be pretty good level guys with bright futures.    there’s not really any criteria for being signed to the PS other than they want to see how much better a guy can get over there.    most of the time, an older guy is either ineligible for the PS because of how many games he’s started, or it’s not worth it because you see what the guy is over what he can become (as he’s been in the league a while).   odds are the younger guy gets signed to the ps over the older guy.
    • Remember all those years we watched Mannings fluttering passes downfield? 100 Int's even over his 1st 5 seasons. Not counting many Playoff interception disasters.  No flutters for AR ! Just less closing time for the D.
    • I just read the article on Stampede Blue.  It’s an old clip of him dunking.     I’m pretty sure they told him not to do that during this time.  He did say he’d be throwing with the guys.
    • I am always impressed with the knowledge on this forum so I thought I would ask a question about the practice squad as opposed to trying to figure it out on my own.   We have a UDFA Dalton Tucker on the OL (Guard Tackle) Currently listed as 3rd team behind Q and Stills. He is my nephew-in-law and a great young man. He is a good OL with a lot of flexibility or otherwise the Colts would not have signed him. However would be a very long shot to make the team at this time due to the returning player and two OL draft picks.  The question is how many OL do we normally keep on the Practice Squad and what are the criteria? In all my years of following the Colts have just not paid attention to the details. If it came down to Stills or Dalton for the PS is Stills or Pinter eligible and would you put a more veteran player on the PS or would you prefer a younger player assuming you thought he could develop? Pay-wise do all PS players get the same? I also understand that PS players attend home games on the sidelines and practice with the team since they are designated as practice squad. Any information is appreciated as I will be following this aspect a lot closer this fall.
    • I thought he said he wasn’t going to play BB?  How old is that video?
