Right over your head that I was making the analogy that the RBs weren't make or breaking this game.

But keep trying to fix losses like these by switching around the RBs. That's the ticket :)

Still don't get that you can't assume what kind of game a player will have based on TWO plays.

Trent Richardson is not producing. Let's keep a non-productive back in who doesn't even think he's not performing well. That'll get us some wins.

If you think RBs are losing us these games. Then you aren't watching.

Brown has been getting a good share, that's not the problem. Trent was just as good as Brown today on only 5 more carries. That's not that much. Not enough to break this game open in our favor. Unless you believe that Brown would have taken all 5 to the house. If so. I think this conversation has run its course lol.

Imagine if Luck was a statue QB like Peyton.

We would be on our 3rd stringer by now.

Doubtful....that "statue" QB that you are talking about gets rid of the ball in less than 3 seconds. He has the quickest release in the NFL right now. The D Lines can't even think about breaking through in that amount of time. Peyton's O line is filled with 2nd string guys....the difference??? HIS RELEASE TIME and his ability to ADAPT to KNOWING he has a weak O line. Peyton releases the ball before a receiver is even in position. It is up to Luck and HIS COACHES to make the proper adjustments.

Is that what I said? I said way back when was that the coaches need to be accountable and one of the reasons for my saying that is that TRich has not been playing well and that Brown has been better as of late. Make the switch and let it be a hard lesson to motivate Richardson. If not then admit you were wrong and cut him.

Another example is David Reed.

    • Trade him? He just handed him a nice extension.
    • Yes, thanks, you’re right. When the Panthers traded to get the 1 is when Ballard said he didn’t have all the information to make the trade. That’s strange to me.  “Didn’t want to make a blind decision without all the information,” Ballard told reporters Monday. “I know for people, they might not understand that. But I think history kind of tells you that when you do that, you better know what you’re getting. And we weren’t quite ready to do that at that time. And then we feel like there’s enough depth in the draft that we were gonna be okay.”   This was in late March. Ballard had a chance to get the 1 and use it to take Stroud not Young. I think it’s strange he said he didn’t move up to 1 because it would have been a “blind decision.” Why would it be a blind decision in March? Why wouldn’t you know what you’re getting? You’re getting whoever you want if you get the 1. It didn’t happen, but Ballard could have recognized that Stroud was going to be superior, could have made the trade and could have drafted him. Ballard admits it never occurred to him to attempt the trade because it would be a “blind decision.”
    • I cringed after seeing the way his leg bent underneath him to the point of him sitting down on it. Buckner is one tough dude and to see him needing help to get off the field is when I knew he was going to be out for a while.
    • He probably felt confident Bowers would still be on the board at 15 once he made it past NYJ at 11.  He could've been trading up with other teams to move up to get Brock Bowers, but unfortunately, the Raiders had their eyes set on him and took him at 13.
    • Not now...   Let the year play out. Maybe at the end of the season...
