I have no clue on this so just asking — with the talk of getting pressure, why have our sacks increased with Grover out? Is he a run stopper exclusively and we are playing more pass rushers with him out? -

If Shane gets us to the playoffs he should automatically win COTY. I don’t think any team in the playoff hunt has faced more adversity than us. This is not all, but here are some things he’s had to deal with: - second youngest team in the league - rookie HC - change culture of team after a tumultuous season - lose starting cb to gambling (Rodgers) - lose starting qb for season early in the season - lose starting DT (Grover) - didn’t have his best offensive weapon to begin the season, and honestly hasn’t been able to use him much as far as the other coaches: - Ryans has coached the Texans into prominence but he has his qb and Shane doesn’t, which gives Shane the edge to me. Plus we beat them and if we beat them again I think that stops Ryan’s chances - Campbell has the lions in a good place but it was expected, no one expected the colts to do anything with AR, let alone minshew. So advantage, Shane - Payton, I think is the biggest threat. He took a team that was a laughing stock, started the year horribly, and turned them around into a potential playoff team. But, once again, Payton has all his tools at his disposal. And the broncos started the turnaround once they were healthy, while we’ve dealt with changing lineups on a week to week basis. Shane has had more to juggle, so he gets the advantage. - Sirriani, he has probably the second most talented team in the league and they’re on a losing skid right now. I don’t think he’ll get it at all. So with that said, give it to Shane. -

I’m enjoying the heck out of this season. And if the Chris Ballard 7-year Master Plan was no division championships and currently 7-5 and fighting for a wild card spot with a possible franchise QB on IR and on his third coaching commitment, I’ll be the first to say “Chris, you nailed it, well done sir.” -

This seems to indicate colts are 6th and not 7th. It does give them a little wiggle room if it’s the case.
