Depends upon how bad he failed his physical. Doesn't sound good though. The Jets traded for and then passed on him due to it, and the Panthers dropped him. Must not be a very good outlook.

Arians might convince Grigson to bring him into Camp. He's a Good player IMO, but as a Veteran player... Failing your Physical or Conditioning Test is UNACCEPTABLE. But if we don't get him, I would understand why we didn't. But who knows

He is a very good player when he is healthy, but like Gonzo and Bob Sanders, he is rarely healthy. I think it's better to pass and use the roster spot on someone who can stay healthy and do more for the team in the long term

I think you're right, but I can't help but wonder if he has anything left at all. It's apparent that Grigs isn't keeping guys who spend more time in rehab than on the field. I like that attitude.

If he had anything left the Panthers wouldn't have traded him period, let alone for essentially nothing. Him failing the Jets physical was icing on the cake.

Man that just reminds me of HS and you got those guys sitting in the tub and getting treatment all week while the rest of us pounded it out in practice. I remember having bruises all over my body and couldn't sleep at night yet I wouldn't miss practice. I know some guys needed it but you get a couple donas on every team. Loved that chill on a brisk fall friday night and the adrenaline of playing.

We certainly don't have the cap space right now to pick up a guy who can't pass a physical, and may end up injured again in the end... If he could stay healthy, maybe. But it looks like health is a shot in the dark here and we can't afford that.

I'd stash him to IR and have him for next year. The guy is a monster when healthy. He's missed most of the last two years, but sometimes you just get a freak injury and it lingers a little longer than expected.
