The Panthers are a desperate franchise with no patience. Hiring Frank and trading the farm for a risky #1 in Young was the quick and easy route to trying to turn around the franchise, rather than completely rebuilding the team from the ground up like the Lions or Bengals or Jags.

Frank got hired by Carolina and no one in the NFL batted an eye.   Only the fan base who by the end hated Frank’s guts.   The hate has become almost comical to me.  Honestly.
