Went to the casino today, up a whole $10 lol. However, it was fun to spend time with my mom and relieve some stress. We got Taven Bryan, and I'm fine with that. Not a lot of deals today tbh, and some targets that I like are still out there. We can officially use the money from Matt Ryan now that he is offically released, so lets do some stuff going forward.

Ballard is getting involved earlier in FA, so maybe he has learned his lesson.

Can you send that $10 to Jim Irsay please, he needs a few extra dollars to help with Lamar Jackson's guaranteed money lmao

The vet QB market is kind of drying up. Minshew could have a lot of suitors. Foles has not been released yet so wondering if they are leaning that way since he is very cheap.

Foles is bad… I’d rather sign Minshew, Huntley, or even PJ Walker.

The QB I hope Colts are targeting is Huntley. He could run Steichen’s offense well & provide a competitive team until the rookie is ready.

Just how far down the draft board is this guy gonna fall?

We gonna take bets?

Carter has hurt himself terribly.   I don’t think he falls out of the first round.   But some team, maybe one with multiple first round picks, will pick him up.

I think Carter falls to the 15 range. I can see Belichick taking a chance on him if he makes it to 14.

Frank must be elated. He has a GM that's aggressive, a risk taker and is serious about putting a contending team together.

To be fair, David Tepper also seems to be pushing for major changes. Tepper is a real billionaire at an estimated net worth of around $18.5 billion. So that's something that should be stated as well imo.

Usually every draft one player that drops like a rock. That will be him. He looked horrible at drills.

What does that have to do with him getting injured and not being available. Taking on that much would be a big risk.

He is good at managing the cap, but doesn't allocate the money to the right positions. Ties his hands up a lot. Drafts well, gets good deals on FAs. The problem is paying too much to non premium positions. Hines gets nice contract and gone, makes his G his highest paid oline man and tackle gets neglected. Some of the oline is bad luck with Kelly's injury and Smith regression. Moore also got a fat contract for a nickle CB

This would be crazy. It keeps being rumors they don’t want stroud.

Look who is in the picture?

If not its bc Watson is one of his favorite players and he has the same agent as Watson. Im not sure if he wants to go to Houston either. Could be why he mentioned liking Watson. I hope they do screw up and not pick him. I just highly doubt with Frank as the HC that they take Young though. My hope is the Panthers take Richardson.

I think people are assuming we get Stroud if the top two QB’s off the board are Richardson & Young.

However, I guarantee LV, Seattle, or Detroit throws a huge package at Arizona to jump to No. 3 if that is the case. This is why Ballard shouldn’t leave it up to draft night

I still think the reason they signed Dalton for two years is to be there to mentor Richardson.  He’s Frank’s type of quarterback.  The other three would start right away.

Only if Ballard is fine with it. If he wants him he will move up that one notch. Will depend on how they view Richardson and Levis.

Yep. As soon as stroud would drop that 3rd pick would be huge. Cardinals could lose out Anderson to Seattle so would they want to trade out.  I don’t think either of those teams give up huge picks to move up. It would probably be falcons or Titans. Raiders maybe.

I dont know. I gotta look at the list. Doubt they win much with Andy. Feel like better is available out there.

That is not what he answered. Someone said he is worried of taking on his contract. Richard answered that Ballard can manage the cap.

    • I have read numerous scouts and they had him ranked as the  #3 WR in the draft based on talent. I loved the pick but let's not fool ourselves, there is something that made him drop to the 2nd. I am not going to say it is character and/or lack of production. Ballard can go on his rant all he wants, but there was a reason. If he succeeds and becomes a legit #1, then we will wont care. My guess is if he fails to live up the hype, then we  it will leak out why he never reached his full potential. At this point, I couldn't care a less, as I loved the pick at the time and it was the Colts taking a chance with some questions about Mitchell. The one thing I did not like was Ballard going on his rant is he should have just kept quiet and said we like he player. Him going on a rant leaves him open to criticism if for example Mitchell does not work out and say it comes out that he has a poor attitude, work ethic etc.
    • Actually,  I don't think you can really say who is the #2. I think, they actually want Pittman to be relegated to that role as they are hoping that Mitchell or Pierce can finally assume that take the top of the defense  #1 wr.  I don't put to much stock in Mitchell unseating Downs as they play to different positions. Downs is the slot and Mitchell is hopefully that legit #1 that the Colts have never had. So in saying, Mitchell will not be unseating Downs, as they will be asked to do different things. I think the Colts are just hoping to have that legit #1 guy and then everyone else can play the role they were drafted for. If Mitchell or Pierce break out, you will see the ball spread out to the remainder of the WR's and TE's.
    • Keep in mind, with drops, it has always been very subjective to whether it was a “drop” or not. Which is why the rates vary so much
    • That is about how much I heard he might get. I am glad it is over and we are not waiting for the other shoe to drop (leave in FA or choose not to play).   Now, all the pressure is on him to perform
