Anyone know what the made the NFC/AFC, FOX/CBS switch happen?

On CBS is the Bears/Giants game.   2 NFC teams.   FOX usually has the NFC.

On FOX is the Colts/Raiders game.  2 AFC teams.  CBS usually has the AFC.

This has been taking place for several years. I remember a  Vikings/Bears game on CBS 7 years or so ago.

I found this:

That changed entering the 2014 season, as the league began “cross flexing” games between the two networks after Week 5, allowing CBS to air two NFC games and vice versa to balance out the television schedule.

From the Vikings site:

La Canfora says that league sources have confirmed that the Vikings, along with the Bears and Broncos, are preparing to search for a new head coach, and that the coaching staffs within those organizations are bracing for the possibility of being elsewhere next season.

welp if the Steelers go on to win, the only scenario the Colts make if we lose to the Jags is if the Steelers and Ravens tie.

Good - I don't even want to entertain the possibility of losing to the Jags and still making the playoffs, and after tonight, we don't have to.

Who do you want?

I don't know but this guy from the Ravens sounds like he may be promising. He has coached under John Harbaugh for a few years, he comes from a well run organization, his STs are highly rated, and it is someone new (not a retread). I will have to do more research on him.

I just read up on him. I had not known anything about him. He may not have enough experience coaching.

I want a coach like John Harbaugh. He represents his team well, he wins, he is respected, he gets along well with players, he plays all players -- not just vets, he takes chances that others wouldn't. I just like him a lot.
